dear expectant mother

We would first like to acknowledge the incredibly brave, overwhelming, scary, and selfless decision you are considering for your baby. We will never be able to stand in your shoes and comprehend the many difficult and complicated feelings involved. Please know that if you choose us as adoptive parents, your child will grow up in a home that is safe, warm, and welcoming. They will be reminded on a daily basis how much they are loved, appreciated, and respected. The love we will share with your child will be open and genuine, and we will always provide a secure environment where they feel comfortable asking for advice and being honest about their feelings.

As your baby grows, we will share with them the values and life lessons we feel are most important. We want them to experience a diverse world and enjoy a life of travel and culture. There will be games, singing and music, reading, arts and crafts, trips to the park, and abundant smiles and laughter every day. We will never be able to express the depth of appreciation we feel for you and for this gift of adoption, and we look forward to experiencing this journey right beside you, every step of the way.

About Us

Lauren is kindhearted, empathetic, and compassionate. She loves working with young children as a preschool teacher and nanny, singing and dancing, and making others laugh. Ethan is thoughtful, considerate, and generous. He is an avid fly fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and connecting with nature. We met in January of 2015, and we instantly connected over our shared love of animals, family, humor, and travel. We celebrated our wedding in September of 2019. We love spending time enjoying the Colorado mountains and sunshine, hiking and biking with our dog, game nights with friends, and relaxing summer evenings chatting outside and watching movies. Our relationship thrives on mutual respect, honesty, support of one another’s interests, and, of course, fun and adventure!

Our Home & Pets

We chose a home in a safe, quiet neighborhood just twenty minutes from the mountains or the city. There are miles of bike paths winding through open space with woods, ponds, and wildlife. We can walk or bike to grab groceries or head out to local restaurants, the community rec center, and bowling. Our house has multiple guest rooms with open invitations to all of our family and friends and a spacious backyard with lots of room for a little one to run around and play on a swing set! Our eight-year-old mixed breed dog, Finn, is loyal, calm, and friendly, while our cat, Poppy, is sweet and social. Both of them love hanging out in the yard or finding warm, sunny spots to relax around the house.

Our Extended Family

We feel incredibly lucky that both of our immediate families, including parents, siblings, and two young nephews, all live in the same state as we do! Lauren has one older sister she is very close to, and she lives less than ten minutes away. They chat almost every day and enjoy meeting up for coffee on weekends. Ethan has an older brother and sister, and we enjoy frequent family gatherings. We are both very family oriented and love spending time together as often as possible, enjoying activities like picnics in the park, nights out for dinner and ice cream, or relaxing evening walks to catch up.

Both of us have relatives scattered throughout the country, whom we also speak with and visit as often as possible. Lauren is very close with her grandpa as well as many uncles and aunts, and Ethan keeps up with his busy 99-year-old grandmother and several cousins. Ethan’s parents remain very active and extend invitations for walks, bike rides, and skiing.

We cannot express how excited and supportive our families and friends are as they anticipate our adoption. There will never be a shortage of love (and enthusiastic babysitters) surrounding your baby!

What Led Us To Adoption

We are unable to have biological children and have always thought adoption would be a wonderful and exciting opportunity for us to grow our family. From a young age, we have both experienced a deep desire to be parents and feel we are at a point in our lives where we are prepared, capable, and beyond excited to welcome a baby into our home and our hearts!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
