Our minds are racing with what to say to someone who could change our lives forever. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and considering us to raise your child. Thank you for having the courage to take the step of adoption. We want you to know we will strive every day to be the best parents we can be to your child.
Your baby will be surrounded by love. We make each other a priority and remind each other of that every day. We will teach them about the power and love of God and what it means to show kindness as well as the effect that has on yourself and others. We look forward to whatever passion they choose to pursue, and we will be there every step of the way. We will be there for the hard lessons learned and the excitement of new adventures. We can’t wait to show them how to play sports and be creative. We will teach them how important it is to have self-confidence and a positive outlook. We hope to share all the laughter and joy our family will provide.
About Us
We met through a mutual friend, and we’ve been together ever since! Stephen owns a business designing and building custom cabinets, and Laura works in the operating room as a surgical assistant. Stephen has a huge heart, is very patient, and is ambitious in everything he does. He loves to watch/play all things sports (especially football), and anything with a motor in it has his interest. Laura is compassionate toward everyone she meets and has a big sense of humor. She loves to craft, especially around the holidays, and is currently learning survival skills. Stephen coaches our son’s baseball team and Laura wears the title “ball mom,” so this is definitely something we love to do as a family. We work hard and play harder with friends and family whenever we get the chance!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom, ranch-style home in a quiet cul-de-sac in the country. Our home sits on two acres of land with plenty of room for outdoor activities! We moved into this house last year and enjoy completing home projects and trying out gardening. We have fenced off part of the yard for our dogs (we are definitely dog people) and love taking them for walks while we explore. There’s plenty to do in this area within driving distance, but some of our favorites are going to the beach and walking on local nature trails. There are a ton of museums, parks, and local festivals in this area as well, and we can’t wait to share familiar and new experiences with your child.
Our Extended Family
Both sides of our family are close, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love getting together for holiday weekends to cook out and just enjoy each other’s company. Our best friends’ family is for sure our extended family, and we see them every weekend and support each other through every life experience. All the kids grow and learn together, and there’s always a game to play, something to learn, and someone to get into mischief with! We have a huge support system filled with nothing but love, and there’s always someone there if you need them.
Christmas is major in our family, and we may go a little overboard on the decorations. We love to get together for dinners and crafting for the kids, participating in toy drives, watching holiday movies, and listening to all the Christmas jams. Putting God and each other first is one of our core beliefs, and we know we can provide a beautiful life for a little one.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve been drawn to adoption since shortly after we were married. We have adopted family members on both sides, and the opportunity to do this is such a natural choice for us. Trying to have a biological child hasn’t worked out, but we just have this gut feeling there’s someone out there who’s meant to be in our family. We want to grow together every day and explore and enjoy the simple things this life has to offer. We are excited and anxious for what the future holds and know it’s all in God’s hands.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
