Dear Expectant Mother,
We are honored and touched that you are reading about our story. We would eternally support another child in all ways possible, including unconditional love, emotional support and the best education and resources to prepare them for the life ahead of them. We truly are hands-on parents and support our daughter through school, school activities, homework, sports activities and of course play time and fun experiences. We would continue this same type of hands-on approach with our next child. We have supportive, engaged, and committed extended family members and friends who would support our growing family as well.
We look forward to providing our next child with a breadth of opportunities, including education, extracurricular and cultural activities, given half our family lives in France. We are excited to grow our family and weave in the wonderful opportunities to learn two cultures, two languages and travel to France and Europe.
No words can express our excitement to grow our family! We would be eternally devoted to our next child and be unwavering with our love and support. About Us
Would you believe chocolate has brought us together and to you? We met through work, and the industry we are in is all about chocolate. We both have “sweet” jobs as a marketing director (Laura) and President of his own chocolate consulting company that provides technical support for new product launches. (Laurent). We believe family is our foundation and are committed to a loving partnership and supporting each other’s passions. We enjoy traveling and date nights. More importantly, we have an eight-year-old daughter and are committed to providing a loving and safe home for her filled with unconditional love, opportunities and experiences. She would love to be a big sister. She is a loving, warm-hearted sweetheart and full of hugs. Laura is a small-town Indiana gal and never dreamed she would marry a native Frenchman. We travel to France two or three times a year.
Our Home & Pets
Our home sits on a quaint, quiet cul-de-sac with young families with kids. Our spacious yard leaves plenty of space for our back deck, swing set, and green grass for soccer practice and fun games of tag and hide and seek. The neighborhood is filled with mature trees, landscaped yards, and kids playing. We are a short walk away from our top-rated school system, parks, soccer field, and park district, which offers dance, sports, and camp. The house is an open concept with wonderful sightlines from the kitchen to family room and to our daughter’s play area. The upstairs includes spacious bedrooms with a play area. The yard is perfect for our newest family member, Otis, our chocolate Lab love-bug, who’s fantastic with kids.
Our Extended Family
Do you love the water and water activities? Well, we do! Our next child would definitely be exposed to our love of the water. One side of the family grew up around boating and water activities during summer weekends and vacations. We believe boating kept our family close through the years and gave us a common bond. The other side of the family enjoyed the beach trips to the coast of France and Belgium.
New traditions with us and our daughter include holidays together and trips to France during summer and the Christmas holiday. We have also started holiday decorating traditions and movie nights. The extended families include strong family tradition roots from the Midwest combined with small-town practical raising from France. The commonality of both families is family first. We step up to help each other through the good and the difficult times. Any family member is a phone call away to help out the other.
What Led Us To Adoption
We share a common belief and value of how important family is. Adoption has always been in our hearts since we knew we would have potential difficulty having children, which Laura was told at age 17. Then, miraculously, we had our daughter. Since then, we cannot have more, and our adoption journey has begun. We are very close to our siblings and cherish those relationships; we would love that for our daughter. We believe adoption is a wonderful gift and would love to provide another child all the support, education, and resources for them to have a full and blessed life.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
