About Us

We both grew up in a small town in Indiana. We met in high school, and Kyle was friend-zoned for years until Laura came to her senses! We dated for several years before getting married in 2019. Laura works in human resources, which suits her desire to help others and attention to detail. Kyle works in Maintenance, which is perfect for his problem-solving brain and ability to fix anything! Kyle is outgoing, funny, easygoing, hard-working, and extremely handy. Laura is goal oriented, friendly, loyal, thoughtful, and organized. We are active and adventurous, which led to our move to Florida in 2020 so we could enjoy the outdoors year-round. We even bought a camper so we could bring our dogs and future children with us on our adventures! We love paddleboarding, hiking, boating, and the beach. We run half marathons, play co-ed softball, and ride bikes together. We also enjoy concerts, sporting events, and spending time with our friends and family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a ranch style home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a pool and fenced-in yard. Our home is in a wonderful, safe neighborhood located just across the street from a highly-rated elementary school. Our neighborhood has kids of various ages, multiple parks nearby, and kid-friendly events such as a Santa parade and Halloween movie night. We are located 10-15 minutes from shopping, 30 minutes from downtown, and 40 minutes to the beach. We have three spoiled dogs: Tucker (a schnoodle), Cooper (a schnauzer), and Jack (a schnauzer/Jack Russell) we rescued. They are very friendly, love kids, and cuddle with anyone who will give them attention!

Our Extended Family

Laura is the youngest of three girls. Her sisters are both married with two children. She has one niece and three nephews she loves very much! Kyle is the youngest of three boys. His brothers are fraternal twins and are both married with two children. Kyle has two nieces and two nephews.

Laura’s parents and sisters were all born in Wisconsin, where most of her aunts, uncles, and cousins still live. (Go Pack Go!) Anytime we get together for holidays or birthdays, we always end up playing kickball in the yard, having a cornhole tournament, or playing cards.

Our parents are retired. Kyle’s parents have been married for 47 years, and Laura’s have been married for 48 years. Kyle’s extended family and Laura’s immediate family all live in Indiana. We visit our families in Indiana multiple times a year and get visits from our family multiple times a year too!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always known we wanted to be parents. Shortly after getting married, we began our journey to parenthood. After multiple miscarriages and unsuccessful rounds of IVF, we questioned if our dream would ever be fulfilled. Throughout our journey, we discussed our options. While taking time to process and decide on next steps, we met a wonderful couple on vacation who changed our lives. She shared her story of choosing adoption for her child when she was a teenager. Hearing about her experience and learning more about the process and impact it had on her and her child’s life renewed our hope and reignited our passion to pursue our dream through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
