dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering us to raise your child. We can only imagine what you’re thinking and feeling at this moment, but know that we think it is so beautiful to put the needs of your child over the strong emotions you are feeling right now. We cannot put ourselves in your shoes, but we can promise you our love.
We will love and adore your baby with all we have, and your baby will know the sacrifice you made when you made this decision. We trust that God has a plan for you and your child, and we pray we can be part of that plan. We will raise your child in a loving, safe family. Your child’s days will be filled with adventures and laughter. We will show your child a love for God and others. We will use our gifts for teaching to help your child grow into the beautiful adult he or she is meant to be. We will spend our time playing out in the snow in the winter and swimming in the summers. We will share our love of fitness with bike rides and nightly walks. We look forward to family trips to Disney and rooting on our favorite sports teams. We can picture ourselves reading bedtime stories and saying our nightly prayers.
Put simply, we would be eternally blessed to raise your child.
After many years of looking for the perfect match, we met online and had our first date at Chili’s. After hours of laughing, we knew we were meant to be. We bonded over our love for teaching and sports, and we were married a year later, in 2014. Laura grew up in the suburbs of Chicago as the oldest of three children. She has been a teacher for 20 years at the same school, teaching first and second grade, and loves her job with all her heart. She speaks Spanish and is deeply invested in the school community. Joe is Filipino and grew up as an only child of two loving parents in Chicago. He moved to Tennessee to pursue a degree in occupational therapy. He has been a special education teacher for nine years. Besides teaching, Joe loves sports, music, and marching band.
Our Home & Pets
We have a beautiful two-story, five-bedroom home in the suburbs. We love having cookouts and making s’mores in the firepit on our brick patio. We also have a playset and large yard for swimming, running, and playing ball. We built our home in a small subdivision with many young families. Many children play baseball and touch football in the play area and ride their bikes around the neighborhood or on the nearby bike trail. We also live by a farm and visit the cows often. We’re driving distance from the city, where we visit zoos, museums, theaters, and restaurants and watch our favorite sports teams.
Our Extended Family
Laura has a very close family. She has a sister and a brother. Her brother lives very close by and has three kids, who come over for sleepovers and adventures. Laura’s sister and mom live right down the street in the same subdivision. Her sister is her best friend, and they spend a lot of time together.
Joe’s parents are from the Philippines and have lived in the United States for over 40 years. His parents live in the city but stay with us for half of the week. Joe’s mom loves to cook traditional Filipino food for the whole house, and his dad loves to play with our little boy and teach him to speak both Tagalog and English.
Both sets of parents are retired. They love our little boy so much and take turns coming to watch him in the house while we are at work. We’re very blessed to both have very close families who would do anything for one another.
What Led Us To Adoption
We love children and have always wanted a big family. After years of fertility treatments, we were blessed with our little boy, and since Joe is an only child, his dream and our dream is for our son to have a brother or sister to grow up with. After multiple losses, we felt the best way to grow our family is through adoption. We have always thought adoption was so beautiful and have friends who have been blessed with a family through the adoption process. We have so much love and cannot wait to add another blessing to our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
