dear expectant mother
If we could give you a glimpse into our lives, it would look something like this: We work hard, and we believe in teaching our children to work hard. Education is important. We also have lots of fun, and we want our kids to laugh and play as much as they can. Most of all, we believe in love. We believe the only way to parent is for love to always be at the center of everything we do.
If you choose us, we promise to love your child in very intentional ways. We will teach them how to hit a baseball, how to shoot a free throw, how to swim, and how to play the piano and guitar. We will take them to the zoo and go apple picking with them each year. We will bake our favorite chocolate chip cookies with them again and again. They will eat lots of Puerto Rican food and plenty of American food as well. They will learn Spanish. They will read lots and lots of books, and Laura will teach them everything she knows as their teacher. We will strive to say, “I love you,” to your child every day, and our hope is that your child will forever be changed by the endless love we give them.
You are brave, and your courage is not something we take lightly. As you consider us to raise your child, we are humbled and grateful and hope you find peace in your decision.

About Us
We are Laura and Carlos! We come from very different backgrounds, yet we complement each other so well. Laura loves being a stay-at-home mom to our three boys. Her focus is on creating a beautiful home for our family and feeding and educating them well. She also works as a part-time tutor after Carlos gets home from his job as a local semi-truck driver. Originally from Puerto Rico, Carlos is outgoing and makes everyone he meets laugh almost instantly. We speak both English and Spanish at home, and we are proud of the fact that our children get to experience two different cultures every day of their lives. During the week, you can find us outside riding bikes, playing catch, shooting hoops, or taking a walk. We look forward to sharing our happy, active lifestyle with someone ne
Our Home
We love our house! It’s a cute ranch that we’ve spent many hours turning into a beautiful home. We want our children to love their home and feel safe there, and we’re confident we have created a space where they can thrive and feel loved. Laura homeschools at our house, so there are books everywhere. The floor is often littered with puzzles and games. We have a piano and guitars that are played often, and we grow a garden with fruits and vegetables every year. Some of our favorite things to do include using the slip ‘n’ slide in the backyard, playing ping-pong in the garage, and shooting hoops in the front yard. We can’t wait to share all that we have with our new child!
Our Extended Family
We take pride in the fact that our extended family is so diverse! We absolutely love that our children are being raised in a multiracial environment where our backgrounds blend together to create something new and fantastic.
Carlos’s family never stops cooking homemade Puerto Rican food. When we get together with Carlos’s siblings and their children, we cook, listen to music, and always have a good time. Laura’s family also lives nearby. This includes sisters, nieces and nephews, grandparents, and some really awesome dogs. One sister even lives on a farm! Our children will always have an unbreakable bond with their cousins and grandparents.
Our family is a constant support for both of us. Laura’s mom and dad are always bringing toys and games for our kids to play with, and Carlos’s mom never gets tired of sewing our curtains and making some of our favorite meals, like arroz con gandules and tostones. We would not be who we are without our extended family, and we are beyond excited to introduce them to our new child!
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is a beautiful story. It’s a story woven throughout the Bible when God adopted us into His family. We want to grow our family and open our hearts to love another child through adoption. We have so much love to give! Laura has friends who have adopted, and she has seen firsthand the beauty of what adoption can look like for both the mother and the receiving family. We can’t wait to grow our family through adoption!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
