dear expectant mother

For our family, adoption is a true blessing. We wouldn't be where we are today without the courage and selflessness of Cassandra's birth mother. Please know we admire the sacrifice you are making and do not take it for granted. We have been praying you find peace in your decision and the knowledge that this sweet baby will be placed in the home God has planned for him or her.

We promise to provide a loving and supportive home where boo-boos are kissed, tears are dried with hugs and homemade chocolate chip cookies, laughter is heard often, church is attended as a family, bedtime stories are read and happily reread, bedtime prayers are said nightly, and birthdays and adoption days are celebrated with gusto. We will encourage them to try new things, find something they are passionate about while teaching them integrity, compassion, empathy, and the value of hard work and dedication.

Finally, we will always tell them you are our hero because you made our dreams come true. We will let them know they are loved and wanted, and that their birth mother loved them enough to allow us to love them with all our hearts.

About Us

Greetings! We are Lance and Cassandra! We are an outgoing couple who is always on the lookout for our next adventure. We grew up less than 4 miles from each other, but didn’t meet until Lance came home to visit family, after a deployment to Afghanistan. Lance will tell you it was love at first sight but Cassandra admits that it took her just a little bit longer. But Lance quickly won her heart. Lance planned the perfect proposal. He proposed with a compass, asking her to be his “True North in life and always guide him home." And of course, she said, "Yes!"

Our marriage has an amazing firm foundation of faith, love, respect, commitment, and support. Lance proudly serves in the United States Air Force and Cassandra works for a local company as a receptionist. On weekends we can be found at the local zoo, museums, trying new restaurants, or exploring somewhere new! Cassandra loves to cook, sew, working around the house, and her garden. In Lance’s free time he enjoys running marathons, hiking, sports, and eating anything Cassandra will make him. Our favorite thing to do is travel. Together we have seen 19 countries on over 100 trips. We can barely wait to share our love for adventure with our child!

Our Home & Pets

We bought our first home in February 2017 in a small town known for its top-rated school district and close-knit community! Our beautiful ranch-style brick home is in a well-established neighborhood and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a gorgeous living room with skylights and a wood-burning fireplace, and a big fenced-in backyard with lovely oversized porch and garden. We have rescued three cats over the last two years: T-Rex, Mili, and Stella. They are loveable, funny, extremely mellow, and have always been great around babies.

Our Extended Family

Cassandra’s mom and dad have been happily married for 40 years. They are loving and supportive, giving freely of their time, wisdom, encouragement, and laughter. Her sister has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2004. They have two remarkably charming girls, Abigail (12) and Sadie (10), who are anxiously awaiting a cousin! Cassandra has one set of living grandparents who would love to be great-grandparents again - for the 21st time.

Lance’s mom and dad are very loving, hardworking parents and have been happily married for 47 years. Lance has two older brothers; one has been married for 16 years and the other for 19 years. He has two nephews, three nieces, and one great nephew. Serving in the military is a strong part of Lance's family tradition. His dad served over 20 combined years in the Army, 8 years on active duty and over 12 years in the Indiana National Guard. His brothers continued the family's military tradition with one term each, in the Air Force and the Navy.

What Led Us To Adoption

Prior to marriage, we discussed what our hopes and dreams were for our future family. Lance expressed interest in both biological and adopted children and since Cassandra was adopted, she agreed wholeheartedly. However, we never imagined we'd have infertility issues. After 4 years of trying, we attempted two rounds of IVF. One round was unsuccessful and the other sadly resulted in the loss of our twins, weeks apart. We have prayed endlessly for this next chapter of our lives and with the encouragement, love, and support from our loved ones, we have decided to focus all our efforts into our adoption journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
