dear expectant mother
Thank you for your bravery and selflessness in considering adoption for your child. I understand that this decision is not an easy one to make. If you choose me as the adoptive parent for your precious child, I promise that I will love him or her forever. Your child will have the best education possible. There always will be gatherings and holidays filled with family and friends and also trips near and far. He or she will be in a home full of uncontrolled giggles, countless hugs and kisses, and an appreciation of life and God. I believe that every child has her/his own path. I’ll be more than honored and so excited to actively witness what lies ahead for your child. I could not be more excited about the prospect of adding a child to my family.
I hope you’ll want to meet so we can get to know each other. God Bless.
I’m a retired Navy Nurse, and currently, I’m a Director in the healthcare field at a local medical foundation. I’ve been a nurse for almost 23 years. I love interacting with patients and alleviating their fears or concerns. I’m outgoing and personable with a great sense of humor. I’m open-minded, talkative, and caring. Some of my friends say they wish I’d adopt them! I love to learn and explore new countries and cultures. I’ve traveled to 39 countries and lived in five of them. My everyday activities include working at my job, working out at the gym, and studying for my doctoral degree. I’m always up for a challenge. I have climbed an iceberg in Iceland and made homemade pasta in Florence, Italy.
My Home & Pets
I share my home with my sister. It’s a 4000-square foot home in a quiet community surrounded by a wildlife preserve. The home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and includes a huge backyard. It’s just the right size for a swing set and sandbox! The neighborhood has plenty of space for bike riding. The preserve is always good for a nice walk, and the lake on the preserve is perfect for fishing (I caught my first fish there). The nursery is ready to go also! Its theme is Noah’s ark! I have three dogs, Phai, Yoshi, and Hobbes. They are my little bundles of joy.
My Extended Family
Along with my sister, I have a brother who lives in Hawaii with his wife, two daughters, and grandson. My parents live ten minutes from me. They’ve been married 54 years and they are still going strong! My brother is very excited to finally be an uncle. My sister is looking forward to loving, spoiling, supporting and babysitting!. My parents are very supportive. My dad bought a toy octopus for the Noah’s Ark nursery. I guess they were in the water during the flood! We have a tradition of going out for dinner for Easter and New Year’s Day. On Christmas morning, we open our gifts and then sit back and watch “A Christmas Story” before we start cooking. On Thanksgiving, we watch football and plan our strategy for the Black Friday sales. We don’t go out shopping until we watch “It’s a Wonderful Life.” We like to remind ourselves what Christmas is truly about before we go take part in the commercial side of the holiday.
What Led Me To Adoption
I’ve always wanted children. My dad has continually said that I’d make a great mom. My family adopted my brother when he was three years old and my parents fostered many children over the years. I know I’m ready to be a mother and to raise a child to be strong, independent, loving, adventurous, and continuously curious. I can give a son or daughter the guidance and wisdom of my life experiences and also provide a safe, warm, and caring environment full of laughter and learning, just like my childhood.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
