dear expectant mother
We are honored and in awe of the strength it takes for a mom to make the decision to not only grant life to a being she is tasked to bring into the world but to provide the ultimate gift of a child to prospective parents and fulfill their dreams. The choice of adoption is such an act of selflessness and the ultimate example of unconditional love.
We are beyond grateful for this opportunity, and if chosen, we will hold on to your gift with precious care. You will walk side by side with us in our hearts and in your child’s heart for the beautiful gift you have granted both to your child and to us if you choose us. We will offer support to you during this difficult time, and please know you are not alone. We also will have fears and worries, but know that your safety and security will be of the foremost importance to us during this process.
About Us
We are Lacretia and Matt. We were blessed to meet through a dear mutual friend. We became close friends for years before finding each other’s hearts. We both have backgrounds in human services and helping others find their potential and access to supportive resources. Lacretia is a board-certified behavior analyst specializing in programming for children with autism and special needs adults. Matt is a college counselor who procures funding for trade students entering the health services field. Lacretia has an incredible way with children, and Matt is playful and engaging and loves learning and teaching children new things. We love reading, board games, concerts, and being out in nature. We both are lifelong learners who believe life is the ultimate adventure.
Our Home & Pets
We have lived in our home for six years and are now equipped with a beautiful nursery. We live in a quiet suburb with wonderful neighbors and families where kids are always playing, riding bikes, and active in sports at several local recreational grounds and parks. We are blessed to work close to home, with Matt many times being remote. We have a wonderful dog named Patsy who is an absolute joy. She loves all things, especially new people.
Our Extended Family
We have a large extended family with many siblings, cousins, nephews, and nieces of various ages. Our family is incredibly diverse, and we are blessed to have such a large, growing family. We all make sure to get together on holidays, birthdays, and all joyful events.
Lacretia’s family is in state, and Matt’s family is in southern Florida, where we vacation frequently. We take many trips and weekend getaways throughout the year for rest, relaxation, and family bonding. Lacretia has three sisters and two brothers, and Matt has one brother. Lacretia and Matt’s parents are all very involved and supportive in their lives. When we are all together, we are always laughing, watching movies, playing board or card games, and having a great time telling stories. We are all so close and there for each other for good times and bad. We have a very strong support system.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have overcome a journey of obstacles over the past two years that have led us to adoption. We tried having biological children in the past, and the recent one resulted in a loss where Lacretia almost lost her life. Lacretia has made a full physical recovery, and as we have been healing from this unimaginable loss, we realized we still hold the desire to grow our family and raise a child. That is when we decided adoption was the right choice for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
