dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to review our profile. We are honored you would even consider gifting us with the privilege of raising your child. As parents, we are in awe of your bravery and strength, and we know the sacrifice you are making to ensure your child has the brightest future possible cannot be understated.
We come from modest beginnings. Lacey is the eldest of three raised by a single mother. She worked full-time throughout college and part-time in medical school. Andrew worked part-time during the school year and full-time in the summers to help pay for his education. We can assure you your child will be adored, and we are committed to doing our best to instill qualities that you as a mother would value: kindness, strength, loyalty, and a good work ethic. Your child will learn to horseback ride, play soccer, dance, and read music. Your child will make holiday cookies with us to distribute to our friends and neighbors. Your child will receive lifelong unconditional love and support, all of which is made possible by your love and sacrifice. If you feel our family can provide the future you desire for your child, with infinite gratitude, we welcome your little one into our hearts and home.
We met in Pennsylvania in 2011 through an online dating service. Both of us were professionals with busy lives and felt having an online presence would keep us engaged and committed to our personal development. At the time, Lacey was completing a public health program and preparing to apply to residency, and Andrew was deeply invested in the lives of his high school-aged children, Alisa and Jason. We connected, and in 2014, our daughter Callista was born. Lacey loves her work as an Occupational Medicine physician. She enjoys working with patients, helping them get back to work, as well as the stable schedule the position provides. She also loves to do yoga, dance, and garden. Andrew works as computer programmer for a financial filings company, and he really likes his job, too. He runs most days and enjoys biking and weight lifting.
Our Home & Pets
We have a four-bedroom ranch-style home with a finished basement that Callista and Andrew use as a playroom. We have scooters, bicycles, a trampoline, many toys there. Also, we make sure to have plenty of paint, crayon, and clay available. Our property is beside a large grassy area in our development and across the street from a bluff overlooking a lake. Additionally, our home is located in one of Iowa’s best school districts. Lacey looks forward to attending Mommy and Me yoga and Kindermusik classes again! Other members of our family include our two cats, Kali and Behemoth, and Taz, our Australian cattle dog. Andrew’s 84 year-old mother lives with us, as well, and loves to read and play games with Callista.
Our Extended Family
For the last seven years, Andrew’s mother has rented a beach house for the entire family in the summer. His brother and sister, nieces and nephews, and his great-nephews all spend the week together. It is the one time of the year we are all in the same place. When we lived in Pennsylvania, we spent most holidays with Andrew’s family. At Christmas, we perform what is called ‘the present toss’: the gift receiver closes his or her eyes, holds out their hands, and attempts to catch the next present. It’s quite the spectacle! Laughter is an important part of our family life. Andrew’s humor is one of the qualities that drew Lacey to him.
Lacey’s family lives in the Pacific Northwest, and we visit them every two years. Lacey’s mother and step-father visited us this summer for the first time since we relocated to Iowa, and we were excited to spend time with them. Christmas has always been an important time in Lacey’s family. Holiday stockings hanging over the fireplace, the scent of fresh pine in the air, and Lacey’s mother’s stuffing on Christmas day inspires us to create traditions of our own.
What Led Us To Adoption
We spent the majority of our adult lives focusing on our careers. Education is very important to us and this is a value we look forward to sharing with your child, whatever the path that may be chosen. Growing our family is our priority now. Since our finances, careers, and home life are stable, we have committed ourselves to making our dream of adoption come true. Our daughter, Callista, is four now, and she can't wait to be a big sister; she keeps asking when the baby will arrive! Our entire family is looking forward to the next chapter of our lives with your little one.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
