It would be a privilege to raise your child and we would dedicate ourselves to providing them with the best life possible. We look forward to sharing your story with your child and making sure they know what a loving decision you made for them.
There is no way for us to fully express our gratitude for what you are doing. It is a brave and selfless decision you are making and we cannot begin to understand how hard it has been. We want you to know it would truly be a dream come true to become parents. We are ready to have a family and would be honored if you chose us as adoptive parents for your child.
We were married on August 11, 2012, after dating for four years and have a wonderful and happy marriage. Together, we love spending time with family, going to festivals and concerts, and traveling.
Kurt is an aeronautical engineer and a commercial pilot. He owns a Cessna 150 airplane and loves to go flying! Laurie has worked as a band director and teaches private lessons. Her main instrument is the flute but loves teaching all the band instruments. She also enjoys horseback riding and owns a big grey thoroughbred.
Our Home & Pets
Our home has 3 bedrooms and a wonderful backyard to play in. We live on a quiet street, just two blocks from an elementary school, in one of the best school districts in the area. It’s a very family-friendly neighborhood and we look forward to raising our family here.
We have the most adorable and gentle dog, Maggie, who loves everyone. She comes everywhere with us! We also have a cat named Monkey, who sits on command, and a horse named Bailey, who lives at a local stable.
Our Extended Family
Laurie has an older sister, who lives about an hour away. Laurie’s mother lives about an hour away and can’t wait to become a grandma!
Kurt has an older brother and sister, both of whom live within 20 minutes of us. Kurt’s parents live only 15 minutes away, and love puppy sitting for us when we go out of town. We are lucky to have supportive parents who we love very much. They have set a wonderful example we hope to live up to!
What Led Us To Adoption
We began trying to have a family immediately after getting married. After 4 years of trying with no success, we began discussing adoption. Kurt grew up with two cousins who were adopted, and experienced how wonderful adoption can be. After a lot of discussion, we decided adoption was the best way to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
