dear expectant mother
We don’t know what your circumstances are, but the fact that you are taking responsibility for your child’s future shows a great deal of love, selflessness, and maturity. What a brave decision! If you bless us with the gift of loving and raising your child, we promise to only speak of you and their adoption story with love and respect, as you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We promise to love your baby unconditionally. Our goal is to raise a happy, confident child with a life full of opportunities. We will be there every day to encourage them, pray with them, celebrate with them, and comfort and guide them during difficult times. We also promise to be silly with them, to dance in the rain, to let them lick the spoon, and to sing Disney songs as loud as we can!
We are so excited to add to our family! Please know that you and your baby will continue to be in our prayers. We are praying for a healthy pregnancy for you. We also pray that whether or not you choose us, your heart will find peace and contentment with your decision and the family you choose. We look forward to the possibility of meeting you and your baby!
We have known each other since middle school but didn’t start dating until the end of college. We have been together 17 years and married for 11. Throughout the years, we have built a strong relationship centered around God and filled with love, laughter, commitment, and fun! Matt graduated with a degree in criminal justice, and he is a major in the Army. Matt is hardworking, dedicated, quiet (until you get to know him), smart, and quick witted. He has an extreme love for the outdoors: fishing, boating, snowboarding, farming, and hiking. Kristy graduated with an Associate of Science degree. She worked in pediatric dentistry for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Kristy is smart, resourceful, loyal, compassionate, and nurturing. She enjoys cooking, reading, shopping, and decorating. We are both so excited about the possibility of adding to our family!
Our Home & Pets
We live on a 200-acre farm in West Virginia. We consider ourselves lucky to have the best of both worlds: the beach and the mountains! Located on the top of a hill, our home is unique with a lot of character. The scenery is breathtaking! There is plenty of room to explore and enjoy nature. We have two dogs (Annie and Piper), one pony (Bucky), one donkey (Boone), chickens, and cattle. We have wonderful neighbors and a great community. The elementary school is just a short drive away and is one of West Virginia’s Blue Ribbon Schools, meaning it’s one of the best. We look forward to sharing our home with another child in the future!
Our Extended Family
We have the best extended family ever! Both of our families are very supportive and active in our lives. Reed claims he has the best grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins in the world! Our family visits often, and we also spend time regularly at the beach in South Carolina, where they live.
Kristy has three sisters and one brother, and Matt has one sister. We have nine nieces and nephews ranging from newborn to six years old. We take vacations together regularly. As you can imagine, with that many children in one house, it’s crazy fun! Our extended family is just as excited about the possibility of us adopting again and welcoming another child to the family!
Our Adoption Story
In 2016 our son Reed was born. Unexpectedly, we received a phone call from his birthmother’s family asking if we would be interested in adopting him. Although his health was in question, being 2 pounds 5 ounces, we did not hesitate in saying yes! We spent the next three months with him in the NICU in another state. Reed has grown into a healthy, smart, fun-loving, handsome little boy. We are forever grateful for his birthmother! Many people have made the comment that he is lucky to have us, but honestly, we feel like we are the lucky ones who got to have him! Reed is also excited about the possibility of having a sibling. We have no doubt he will make an excellent big brother!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
