dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are Kevin and Kristina, also known as K Squared. We are so grateful for you taking the time to read our letter and learn a little more about us. We understand this must be a very difficult decision. We don’t take your strength, courage, and love for your child lightly. Whatever you decide for you and your soon-to-be child’s future, we pray you find peace and resolve in your decision.
If you choose us to be the parents of your child, we want you to have an idea of what your child’s life will be like and how this child will grow up. One thing is for sure: This child will be surrounded by love and support. We both grew up in fairly traditional families. We went to church, we sat down for dinner together, and our parents read us stories at night; those are a few of the traditions we would like to share with our child. We want to expose our child to the arts, travel, other cultures, sports, hard work, and education and give them all the tools they need to make sound choices for their future.
We are so excited to welcome a child into our stable and loving home. We have been blessed with a good education, great careers, a happy marriage, and a supportive village, and we want to share our blessings and love with a child.
Thank you for considering us for your child. We will pray you find peace in your decision.
About Us
Hello! Thank you for taking time to learn about us. We met 6+ years ago at Kevin’s cousin’s birthday. Our first date was a brunch that turned into a 12-hour day. We’ve been inseparable ever since. We were both raised in the Bay Area where we benefited from the area’s diverse culture, history, and climate. We are college graduates and both enjoy successful careers. Kristina’s a nurse, and Kevin is an executive at a technology company. The spirit of family and service to community had a huge influence on our personalities. God is first in our lives and marriage, and we’re committed to our faith. We both volunteer as officers in non-profit organizations. We love to have a good time and enjoy hiking, biking, traveling, BBQs, and a good movie. We look forward to adopting and pouring our love into our new child.
Our Home
Our home is in a beautiful and diverse neighborhood close to parks, lakes, trails, highly rated schools, professional sports teams, and quaint restaurants. The unique climate allows us to go to the beach, hit the slopes, and wine taste all in the same day! It’s an AMAZING place to raise children. We have a very active and close-knit neighborhood association where our neighbors feel like extended family. We have a nice Spanish-style house that we’ve made a home for family and friends. It’s not uncommon for us to host BBQs, gumbo, and game nights, where love and fun are shared by all.
Our Extended Family
We are both very close to our family. Kevin’s mother and brother live in the area, and we see them often. Kevin’s dad unfortunately died last year, but he did live to see us get married; that was special for all of us. Kristina’s parents and sister live ten minutes away. We enjoy getting together with both sides of our family often. We share and swap recipes, love watching most sporting events, travel together, and are just close knit. Family is so important, and we’re grateful to have the love and support of our family. We have a lot of fun together.
Although our immediate family is small, our village is made up of close friends who have become family. We connect with our friends all the time and have become auntie, uncle, and godparents to a host of our friends’ kids. We are always there for each other. Whether renting a home in Tahoe for birthdays or going to our godson’s games, our friends are a constant and reliable part of our lives. Our village is strong, loving, and supportive.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both knew we wanted to adopt long before we met each other. We’ve witnessed and experienced the gift and blessing of adoption in both of our families. Kevin is the godfather of his best friend’s child who is adopted, and Kristina’s mother was adopted and blessed by a beautiful and loving family. So we both have benefitted from the positive experiences of adoption. Today there are so many options and opinions on the best way to grow a family. We always knew someday we would adopt a child, and we feel fortunate we share this dream. Our immediate families are quite small, and we are excited to grow and share all of our love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
