Kristina and I both came from humble beginnings but it was instilled in us as small children that hard work pays off. Kristina realized education was important and was the first person in her family to go to college. Kristina received her undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. After her master’s program she started working for a global consulting firm and 12 years later became a partner of the company. In 2016, Kristina was able to retire, at a very young age, from the corporate workforce. Jennifer received a Bachelor’s of Science degree and is currently working as a manager for a software company.
We met fifteen years ago working for the same consulting firm. From the day we met we both knew that family came first and someday we wanted to build together a welcoming home full of love, children and pets. A year after we met we moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where we indulged in all the outdoor activities we both enjoy; hiking, white water rafting, golfing, rollerblading and skiing. Ten years ago we moved back to the states to be with family. We share a love for music and we even have a room in our house called the “music room” which contains a plethora of instruments; a piano, guitars, violin, flute, trumpet, etc. We enjoy countless hours in this room gathering with family and friends or just listening and encouraging one another as we try to play a song. We plan on exposing our child to the world of music and encouraging them to learn to play an instrument.
Our Home & Pets
We selected our current home based on location to family and also because of the family friendly community and good schools in which we live. We are both active members in our church located across the street. All of our decisions in regards to building a home have been thoughtfully planned with growing our family. During the summer most of our weekends involve barbequing with family and friends and swimming in our pool in the back yard. Jennifer loves to cook and puts on a feast almost every weekend. Our favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas especially when our extended family comes to visit from out of state.
We have 3 dogs named Wilson, Lucy and Otis. Wilson is an 11 year old grey hound/beagle/terrier mix, Lucy is a 9 year old beagle and Otis is a 3 year old coon hound. They enjoy walking and sniffing around the neighborhood, but most of all they just enjoy being around their mommies.
Our Extended Family
Kristina’s parents live close by and we see them at least once a week for a Sunday brunch at the house. Our nephew also spends time over at our house almost every weekend. Jennifer is always cooking so family and friends are always dropping in. Both Kristina and Jennifer have siblings and cousins that live out of state and we take annual vacations to see them. One of our annual trips with our extended family includes diving for scallops, deep sea fishing or Kristina’s latest hobby scuba diving. Typically around the holidays is when our extended family from out of state comes to stay with us.
What Led Us To Adoption
Initially we pursued conceiving through artificial insemination. After several attempts we/Jennifer became pregnant but had a miscarriage 10 weeks later. After recovering both emotionally and physically from the miscarriage we continued to try to conceive but were not successful. We then both decided that growing our family through adoption would be equally wonderful journey so we are now taking the next steps in finding the right birthmother and child to open our home and our hearts.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
