dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us as potential parents while you go on this adoption journey. We are grateful for you and for the life you are carrying.

There are so many reasons we are excited to adopt: teaching them art, taking them hiking and into nature, watching them play sports, going to recitals, and making holidays, birthdays, and school events extra special. To put it simply, we can hardly wait to share our love and life with our future little one and give them everything they need to flourish in the world. We promise you we will give our best as parents each and every day.

We don’t know what brought you to consider adoption and won’t pretend to know what you are going through, but if this is this decision you make and the child you are carrying ends up in our world, we will give them the best life we possibly can and give all of the love we have in our hearts. We will do everything to make sure they grow up with everything they need to meet the world head on with bravery, grace, and confidence.

Thank you again. We look forward to the chance to talk with you soon.

Sincerely,
Chris & Kristi

About Us

We are Chris and Kristi. We’ve been married for 11 years. We both love the outdoors and traveling. Kristi is an information technology executive for a large company out of DC. Before she went into IT, she was an interior architect, and she still does a lot of that work for family and friends. She’s also an artist and has taught classes and done art shows. Lately she’s been learning to play the guitar. It’s been on her bucket list a long time. Chris was an Army helicopter pilot for eight years. Now he is a program manager for helicopter missions. He’s an avid woodworker and builder. He’s great at math and logic but very creative at the same time. We lived in South Korea for 4 ½ years, and this sparked our love for travel and adventure. We love to have fun and are always ready for an exciting new challenge. Most importantly, we are best friends.

Our Home & Pets

We have a home we adore. We’ve spent the last two years renovating it and are now getting a room ready for the baby that will someday be part of our world. Our neighborhood has lots of parks and trails all around us, and we have some of the best schools in the state. We also have 40 acres on a river. It’s a nature paradise. We built a cabin there this summer so we could spend more time there. It’s our little home away from home. We have the sweetest dog in the world! Daisy May is a black Lab/border collie mix. We enjoy the local trails together, and she’s always with us at the river and the lake. She’s the happiest, kindest, gentlest dog.

Our Extended Family

We have a tight-knit family. Chris has a brother, and Kristi has a sister. We have five nieces and nephews. Chris’s mom lives within walking distance of us. She is an artist and a wonderful grandmother. Kristi’s mom is so good with children; she’s able to step into their world and bring out so much joy and laughter. Kristi wants to be like her in that way more than anything. Chris’s dad lives on the lake, and we spend a lot of time there in the summers with family. Kristi’s dad lives here locally and is the sweetest, kindest soul.

Our oldest niece, who’s in college, spends weekends with us when she needs a break from school. She leans on us for life advice, and we are honored and grateful that she trusts us so much. Helping our nieces and nephews be the best versions of themselves is what we strive for. They are all excited to have a cousin on the way. Our whole family is so excited about it. It’s such a cool thing to feel everyone already in love with the little person who will be in all our lives. We couldn’t be more grateful for the family we have.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always knew we wanted to adopt, so this is a natural next step and in no way a second choice. Our future child will feel loved and valued from the moment they come into our lives. Our goal is to raise a child who is comfortable and confident navigating the world. We will pass on the knowledge we’ve gained through the years so they are prepared to face the challenges life brings with confidence, kindness, compassion, and bravery. We will help them grow into the best person they can be, the kind of person who makes the world a little better. We have friends who have adopted and who were adopted. Seeing the love and joy they have experienced through adoption inspires us every day.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
