dear expectant mother
If you choose to pursue an adoption plan with us, as future parents, we promise to protect and love your child with all we have. We promise to always do what’s right, even when it may be hard. We will encourage your child to embrace the world around them and show them the joy in loving and accepting all kinds of people and experiences. We promise to always encourage and foster any interests your child may have growing up. We promise to help your child achieve any and all goals they may have and to celebrate when their goals are reached! We promise to encourage laughter, offer shoulders to cry on, and open our ears to listen to them. We promise to enjoy the little things and to not sweat the small stuff. We promise we will love and accept your child for whoever they become, and we will encourage them to be the best versions of themselves. We promise that your child will know about you and that your name will be spoken in our home.
We promise your child will be proud of who they are and will find strength in what makes them unique. We promise to be the best parents we can be and that we’ll never take this opportunity for granted. We promise to love them always. We feel lucky you’ve chosen to get to know us a little, and we hope to get to know you too. Thank you for being you.
With humble and grateful hearts,
Kristen and Luke

About Us
Hello! We are Kristen and Lueken! We have been married since December of 2008. Luke is loyal, hardworking, and lighthearted. He is currently an SVP and Managing Director, Public Finance. Luke enjoys watching and playing sports. Luke is level-headed while at the same time not afraid to dream big. He is passionate about everything he does in life and never falls short of giving 100% effort to anything he wants to accomplish. Kristen is social, happy, and supportive. Kristen received her BA in elementary and special education and a minor in religion followed by a master’s in special education with an autism specialization. Kristen has been a special education teacher for individuals with significant and profound disabilities since 2009. Kristen enjoys spending time outside, reading, cooking, and socializing with close friends. She is compassionate and outgoing. She prioritizes and loves her family above all else.
Our Home
Our home is situated in the suburbs of western Washington, with views of Puget Sound. Our home has a designated playroom as well as a play and reading space in the living room. Our house is decorated with meaningful art and family photos. We have six bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We have an expansive backyard with a playset, basketball court, trampoline, hot tub, and open grass area to run in. We live in a diverse and quiet community. Within close proximity, there are many attractions for our family: baseball stadiums, children’s museum, zoo, parks, mountain trips for camping and hiking, and ferry rides to the island. The closest elementary school is only about a mile away.
Our Extended Family
We are very lucky to have such a supportive, loving, and encouraging family and support system. Family is very important to us; we value our time together and make sure that is of the utmost importance. We always celebrate holidays and birthdays together. We also love to take day trips and mini vacations together; our favorite is to the beach.
We are lucky in that Kristen’s parents live minutes away and have played a huge part in our foster children’s lives. Kristen’s sister lives about 30 minutes away with her dog. We love to get together for a family meal weekly. They cannot wait to continue to open their hearts and have a grandchild forever in our home.
Another important aspect to our family is our friends, who are our chosen family. We have a close-knit support system, and they are all excited to welcome a child to our crew.
What Led Us To Adoption
Before we married, we knew conceiving was going to be a struggle. After enduring infertility, we decided to become licensed foster parents in 2017. We both have a deep desire to parent and grow our family. We have had the pleasure of welcoming five children into our home for long-term placements. We decided to pursue adoption to create a forever home for a child. We have many family members and friends who have been touched by adoption themselves. We are excited about the opportunity to welcome a little one home.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
