dear expectant mother
To a Loving Mother,
We want to thank you for considering us to be your baby’s adoptive parents. While we are not able to have biological children, the blessing of having a child through adoption brings us so much joy. We look forward to raising your baby with unconditional love, surrounded by family and faith. We intend to be open and honest with our future child about their adoption journey and would like to keep in contact with you and your family if you are interested.
Enjoying the outdoors is a central part of our life and we hope to share this with your child. Currently we live in Hawaii, being stationed here for the military. However, we plan on moving to Minnesota within the next five years, where we have a family home with fifty-five acres. The elementary school is only two miles from our farm. As your baby grows, we look forward to helping them discover music, sports and friendships that come with living in a small community. We hope to travel to allow them to experience as much of the world as possible so that they can learn about other cultures.
Should you choose us, we will provide unconditional love for your child and give them the freedom and support to choose their own path, and to grow into the person they want to be. We look forward to hearing your child’s laughter and finding out what inspires them. We can never know how difficult this decision has been for you, but we are so grateful for your courage, strength and selflessness in considering an adoption plan.
Joe and Kira
We met in Kansas while Kira was stationed there for the military. Joe was attending a short class for work on the same military base and we met by chance and hit it off. Joe was living in St. Louis, six hours away, so we spent a lot of time talking on the phone getting to know each other. We got married right before Christmas in 2016. We love camping, rafting, hiking and gardening. This fall we were blessed with an opportunity to move to Hawaii and have been fortunate to buy a beautiful home. We like to spend time with our dogs and often take them to the beach which is not far away. Our yard has multiple fruit trees and tropical flowers and Joe is building a backyard patio. Kira is an officer in the military and Joe is a civilian employee for the federal government.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom beach bungalow in Hawaii. We are fortunate to have an additional two-bedroom “mother-in-law suite” with its own kitchen and bath. It is perfect for our extended family, who visits often. Our neighborhood has a church, an elementary school, a skate park, the beach, and tons of little mom and pop shops. It is a very friendly community with a loop around a small lake that many people use to walk and exercise. We have five dogs and a cat, four of which are rescues. We can’t wait for your baby to play with the animals, swim in the ocean, build sand castles, and pick fresh fruit from our trees in the yard.
Our Extended Family
Both of our families are extremely excited about our adoption journey. Kira is from Oregon, and her parents, older brother, and younger twin sisters all live there. One of Kira’s sisters just had a little girl in the beginning of 2020, and she is as cute as a bug! Joe’s family is from Illinois, and his parents, older brothers, and sister live there with their families.
Both of our families love holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we spend a lot of time traveling to see everyone. Kira’s parents host an annual cookie decorating party the weekend before Christmas. All the neighborhood kids and families come over, and Kira’s dad is the judge of the best decorated cookie. At Joe’s parents’ house, his mom wakes up early every Christmas and cooks the whole family a large breakfast so that everyone has enough energy for opening up presents. Whether we are at home or traveling for the holidays, we make sure to celebrate with our four-legged critters, and each one has a special stocking filled with treats!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted a large family and have been trying to have children for the past four years. After multiple pregnancy losses and fertility setbacks, we believe adoption is the best way for us to fulfill our dream. Joe’s family has a history of adopting children and their journey has given us inspiration and hope. We are very excited to become parents and have lots of love, joy and opportunity to give a child. We hope that through the gift of adoption, we can finally grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
