dear expectant mother

We are Keri and John, a committed, loving couple looking to complete our family. We want to thank you for considering us as potential parents to your child and want to tell you we are over the moon excited at the possibility of having your child in our lives.

Your child will be surrounded by love and showered with adoration. We have an immense amount of love to offer, a warm and stable home, and the financial and emotional means a child needs to grow happy and healthy.

Being chosen to raise your child would mean the world to us. With us, your child will always come first, and you can rest assured we will allow them to excel and grow however they choose. We will support them in their endeavors, be there to pick them up when they fall, and shower them with hugs and kisses. We will guide and teach, but also learn from your child.

We wish you all the best in the coming months and respect whatever decision you make.

About Us

We met about six years ago, when Keri was moving into a new apartment and John gave her a hand with some furniture. We’ve seen each other every day since! John has worked in the same hospital as a unit assistant for the last nine years, and Keri went back to school last year for social services; she’s now a student and peer recovery specialist at a substance use and mental health agency. We have always resided here in Rhode Island and couldn’t dream of leaving; we spend our time playing with our niece and nephews and vacationing in Disney World, and when we’re home, Keri loves to craft and John is always working on a cup of coffee!

Our Home & Pets

We own a three-bedroom cape in a small and friendly neighborhood, and our home resides on a side street that has no through traffic, meaning it’s perfect for kids to safely play and have fun. We can’t wait to have your child partake in the local activities, like trick-or-treating, feasts, festivals, and local parades. We plan to grow our family here and keep it as our forever home. Our yard is fenced in, making it perfect for family activities, and we love to host barbeques in the summer. In the winter, we take our black lab, Stella, outside to play in the snow. We can’t wait for your child to have the chance to play with Stella, as she would love a playmate and is so gentle with children!

Our Extended Family

Our family lives close by, with the exception of Keri’s father and stepmother. They live in New Hampshire, but we visit and see them quite often. We can’t wait to take your child on their first trip to NH to be able to experience spending time with family and enjoying all the local fun activities that New Hampshire has to offer!

Keri’s sister, brother-in-law, and two nephews live about five minutes away, and because we are so close we spend a lot of time together. Keri’s nephews spend several days a week with us and join us for weekend sleepovers often. We can’t wait to introduce your child to them; they have been wanting a cousin for a long time!

John’s family all lives within the same block as us. We are blessed to have them so close by, as we get to see John’s parents, sisters, and niece and nephew very often. We enjoy many special traditions with them, and one of our favorites is Christmas Eve, when the whole family gathers. They are all very excited to meet your baby and are already filled with so much love to shower on him or her!

What Led Us To Adoption

We’ve always talked about having children. As soon as we were married, we began to try to make our dream a reality, but four years went by and we were still unsuccessful at making our dream come true. Since we knew we were meant to have a family, we began exploring other options, and adoption was at the top of our list. After doing a lot of research on it, we realized that this was the route we were meant to take to complete our family. The miracle of adoption is exactly what we need to make our family puzzle complete!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
