dear expectant mother
Your strength and courage are both so admirable. We cannot begin to thank you enough for considering us to be the parents of your baby. You would be giving us the gift that we have longed so much for. There will forever be a special place in our hearts for you, and we are willing to keep whatever level of openness in this process that you choose. Your baby will always know of what an amazing woman you are. We cannot begin to feel the emotions that you are experiencing right now, but know that we are here for you.
Your baby will grow up in a family that will provide him or her with love, nurture, compassion, and patience. We will value their self-esteem, support their passions, and push them to be the best they can be. They will have as many snuggles and bedtime stories as they desire. On Christmas Eve, we will all be cuddled up in a warm blanket, with our hot chocolate and their favorite Christmas movie.
Life will throw you numerous curve balls, but without them, we would not have been brought together. We are true believers that people are brought together for a reason, and we hope that we have crossed paths to care for and love your baby.
We are Kelsey and Ethan! We grew up together in a small town in Florida and began dating while in high school. Ethan proposed on New Years Eve, right as the clock struck midnight, starting 2014 off with a bang. We got married in September 2015 with a beautiful outdoor ceremony and many of our friends and family in attendance. We are each other’s best friend, and we love being around each other. In the evenings, we cook dinner together while dancing around the kitchen. We enjoy taking day trips and finding new adventures. Family vacations are one of the highlights of our summers. We also love cuddling on the couch, with our three dogs and one cat, during the week and enjoying a good meal with friends and family on the weekends. Ethan is currently in the military and Kelsey works from home as an independent consultant.
Our Home & Pets
We recently purchased our split-level, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Illinois, where Ethan is currently stationed. There are numerous nature trails and parks for our family to adventure on within close proximity. We have a large, fenced-in backyard where our dogs play, and which would be perfect for a swing set. We have three beautiful dogs and the cutest cat. Judge is our Catahoula Leopard, who loves to cuddle.; Moose is our Chocolate Lab, who loves playing fetch.; Lady is our Cocker Spaniel, whose favorite food is broccoli. Stir Fry is our tabby cat, who loves to climb in her cat house. On the weekends, we take all three dogs to the dog park, where they can swim and play with their friends.
Our Extended Family
Kelsey’s parents and Ethan’s aunt and uncle live in Florida. Ethan has a sister who lives in Arizona and a brother who lives in Florida, as well. Ethan’s parents passed away when he was younger, which led him to be adopted by his aunt and uncle. He considers many of his cousins to be his siblings. Kelsey is the oldest of three, with a younger sister and brother. Both of our families are ecstatic about welcoming a new member to the family.
Kelsey’s paternal grandparents live on a ranch in Florida, where they raise cattle. Christmas is spent having breakfast at Kelsey’s parents, with her aunt, lunch with Ethan’s family, then dinner at Kelsey’s grandparents with all of the cousins. During the summer, we spend time in the Florida Keys, fishing and snorkeling with Kelsey’s maternal grandfather.
While visiting Florida, we enjoy spending time with our closest friends. Most nights we are sitting by a fire, and we also like to load the truck up and head to the beach together. The majority of our friends have been with us since high school. They can’t wait for their children to have a new best friend to play with.
What Led Us To Adoption
We began trying to conceive on our own when we got married. After many failed attempts and numerous doctor’s appointments, we discovered a few underlying fertility struggles. We both have longed for a family and always knew we would adopt even if we were able to conceive on our own. The fact that Ethan was adopted at only nine years old by his aunt and uncle was a huge driving factor for us. Adoption is such a beautiful thing, and we cannot wait to extend our love and share our home.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
