dear expectant mother
We are thankful you have taken the time to read our profile to learn more about us. We are grateful to even be considered to be a part of this big decision you are thinking of for you and your baby. We know this is probably a very challenging time for you and want you to know we are here to support you.
If we are chosen to raise your child, please know we will surround them with love at all times. Our families will welcome them with open arms. We can’t wait to teach them all of the things we love to do, like cooking, hiking, camping, and baking. Traveling is important to us, and we are excited to teach them about new cultures by experiencing new places, foods, and people by bringing them along to all of our adventures.
We are ready to be the parents who drop off their children at school and take them to sports, extracurriculars, and playdates. We will spend many weekends at the lake house teaching them to swim, traveling to new places, and spending time with family and friends. Bonfires with s’mores, grilling out, family parties, and game nights will fill their childhood memories.
We know this has to be a very tough decision to make, but know that if we are chosen, it would be the missing piece in our family we are hoping for.

We’re Jess and Kelly! We found each other on a dating website. Once we met, it was love at first sight. We quickly found we shared many interests, including traveling, camping, Disney, and games. Kelly discovered how caring, loving, and selfless Jess was when she saw her working as a special education teacher. Jess loved from the beginning how supportive, loyal, and sincere Kelly was. Kelly’s drive for a better life has made Jess feel inspired to pursue her dreams. Kelly’s career in human resources fits with her passion for training and development. We are Universal Studios passholders, love Disney World, and enjoy thrill rides as well as discovering new adventures. We travel as much as we can and try to visit new destinations paired with new activities every time. If we’re not traveling, we’re spending time at game nights with friends around bonfires and grilling out.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the suburbs in Illinois in a house with a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to play. We love to take walks every day with the dogs, have bonfires in the backyard on our deck, and play board games around the kitchen table. We also take the dogs to explore different forest preserves and state parks whenever possible. In the summer, we go downtown to experience the farmers markets, food truck fests, and local coffee shops in our community. We have two rescue dogs, Millie and Travis. Travis is a six-year-old black Lab/hound mix who loves sunbathing, hiking, and popcorn. Millie is a one-year-old black and tan hound mix who loves snuggling, playing fetch, and meeting new people.
Our Extended Family
Game nights and escape rooms with Jess’s cousins are two of our favorite activities. We love getting together and having a potluck meal where we all make our favorite foods. We also love spending the Fourth of July at Jess’s family’s lake house grilling out and swimming at the dock.
Our favorite holiday as a couple is Christmas. This is because both of our extended families are full of traditions we are excited to pass down. On Christmas Eve, we make Jess’s grandma’s waffle recipe with her family. On Christmas Day, we visit with Kelly’s family and read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas during our gift exchange. We also spend time making chocolate-covered pretzels and Oreos with our nieces and nephews in addition to baking Kelly’s grandma’s cookie recipes.
Outside of the Christmas holidays, we spend as much time as possible with our nieces and nephews going on walks, playing games, and doing crafts.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve always talked about adoption as part of our family. Kelly grew up around adoption. Her aunt and uncle were foster parents, and they adopted seven children. We knew we wanted to have children and struggled with fertility as soon as we started trying to have children. Kelly started having reactions to the fertility medication, and we decided to move up our adoption plans. We are so excited and ready to bring a child into our lives to share our adventures with.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
