To start, we need to say that we’re honored to be considered as a potential family to raise your child. We know how challenging and selfless a decision to create an adoption plan for your child is, and we’re grateful to be considered.
We want nothing more than to provide a loving and supportive home for your baby. We were both raised to be who we are, and we hope to do the same for your child. Our home would be one where your child could grow into the person that he or she is meant to be. If you choose us, we want your child to experience life to its fullest and to explore whatever interests he or she might have. We already have a wide range of interests but are eager to learn something new if your child wants to as well.
Our goal is to provide a safe home with as many opportunities available as possible. We live in a wonderful school district and both believe in a great education, which we hope to provide for your child. We can’t wait to share our experiences, our families, and even the small everyday things like walking our dog and family dinners with your child. We’re so very lucky to have this opportunity, to provide for a child, and we can’t wait to do so.
We met a mere six weeks before graduation from college on a spring break trip with mutual friends. Katy is a bright person, charismatic, friendly, and loyal to her friends and family. She loves to read, write, and do crafty things. She works at a software company as a project manager. Chris has a kind heart. He is caring, thoughtful, and always willing to go the extra mile for someone. He’s a sports fan, and he loves a Saturday spent playing golf or exploring the outdoors. He has previously worked in the non-profit field, and most recently he has gone back to his alma mater to work with the school of business executive education program. We both love all things Disney and Marvel, and we love finding that perfect spot for a great meal.
Our Home & Pets
Our house is an older home, a split level with loads of space to grow into. The house has a spacious fenced-in backyard that’s great for playing (just ask our dog, Oliver!). The neighborhood is a close-knit community, with a few events throughout the year, mostly geared towards the kids. There are lots of families with children of all ages, from very little kids to teenagers. We live just outside a big city, with plenty to do and experience. It’s a short drive to the baseball stadium, aquarium, zoo, and so much more. We have three cats (Allie, Dax, and Stella) and our black Lab Oliver. Oliver especially loves to visit with our niece and nephew, giving out puppy licks whenever they stand still.
Our Extended Family
Chris’ parents live just an hour-and-a-half from us and we visit them regularly. His brother is married and he and his wife have two kids. We love spending time with them. They also have a lake house that we spend time at when we can. We try to spend Fourth of July at the beach with them each year, celebrating the holiday and our niece’s birthday. His aunts, uncles, and cousins live close and try to be there for holidays and celebrations.
Katy’s family is a little farther away, but we still see them as often as possible. Her younger brother lives close to her parents and we all try to be in town at the same time. They don’t live far from Disney World, which winds up being a focal point of a lot of our trips. Katy ran her first marathon with her brother, and her parents still cheer us on as we finish races. Katy’s second cousins and their kids live just a short drive from us and love to get together for meals (or a Harry Styles concert).
Our families are diverse, including several LGBT couples. We all have a wide range of talents, interests, and passions.
What Led Us To Adoption
After getting pregnant on our own didn’t work out, we opened our hearts to adopting a child. We’d always thought adoption would be a possibility for us, and we’ve always felt that the opportunity to give a loving home is a beautiful thing to be a part of. Adoption is a beautiful and unique way to build a family. Family members on both sides of our family were adopted, including Chris’ aunt and Katy’s second cousins. Each experience is different, but adoption still comes with the same theme of love that we are so eager to be a part of.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
