dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to consider us in your adoption plan. We all have journeys to go through, and while this may be a difficult part of yours, we commend you for looking at all the options to give your child the best life possible. We are sending you strength and support in whatever decisions you make.
We believe family is whatever you choose it to be and extends beyond blood. Should you choose us, we promise to provide endless love and support and to be present in your child’s life, from going to dance recitals, band performances, sports matches, debate meets, or whatever your child chooses to pursue to the everyday adventures of chasing bubbles, building sandcastles, or creating baking soda volcanoes. We will encourage their dreams and self-esteem in a secure environment for your child to flourish.
We would be honored to be a part of your child’s life and incorporate special familial, cultural, or religious traditions you may have. Additionally, Mike loves to cook and explore foods, and Katie is intrigued by other languages and cultures. We believe communication is vital and would love for your child to understand where they come from and give them the tools to create whatever future they desire. We believe the more people who love a child, the better, and we would be grateful to guide the love, joy, and opportunities in your child’s support system.
With Love,
Katie & Mike

About Us
We met through mutual friends playing soccer in a city rec league. We played together for two years, both thinking the other was in a relationship until Mike finally took the chance and asked Katie out. After dating for two years, we became engaged during a camping trip while watching a meteor shower and have now been together for over ten years. We love spending time with one another and enjoy hanging out with friends and family, playing and watching sports, kayaking, camping, hiking, biking, playing with our dogs, and traveling. We are each other’s biggest supporter. Mike helps to keep Katie on time, while Katie helps keep Mike organized! Katie uses her enjoyment for math and reading by doing underwriting strategy and training for a company in the medical industry, and Mike owns his own remodeling business using his joy for creating, building, and woodworking.
Our Home & Pets
We moved here for the town’s homey feel and wonderful festivals, small theater, community pool, numerous parks, and great educational system. We designed and remodeled our home with a future family in mind. We are passionate about our small orchard and enjoy picking fruit with our nieces, nephews, and friends. Our home sits on a shallow creek with a spacious, fenced-in yard where we love running around, flying kites, and catching crayfish with all the children in our lives. Additionally, we have a lot of outdoor games and plans to build a playset. We currently have two dogs who love sprinting around and playing fetch. We are so excited to experience the yard, fishing in the creek, and picking fruit with a child.
Our Extended Family
We love to spend time with both of our families. We each have a mother and father, two siblings and their respective spouses, nieces and nephews ranging in age from less than one year old to 18 years old, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. We are lucky to have so many members of our family within a couple hours of us. We see our out-of-state siblings and their families as much as possible, whether through video-chatting or in-person visits.
If you’re looking for us, it’s likely you will find us at some kind of field watching our nephews playing sports, simply hanging out at a family member’s house, or with friends and family at some kind of lake kayaking, playing football, swimming, hunting crayfish, or fishing. Katie’s family has been doing getaway weekends since she was young (playing Catch Phrase is a must), and we look forward to continuing those for years to come! Mike’s family has started a summer olympics that we enjoy competing in each year. (Katie is a pro at dropping clothespins into a jar.) We feel incredibly blessed to spend so much time with family and friends. We would love to share that loving, supportive atmosphere with a child.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both loved growing up with siblings and always wanted to expand our family with children. We did not anticipate the twists and turns of fertility treatments and miscarriages, but we have processed our experiences and strongly feel adoption is the path meant for our family’s growth. We would love the opportunity to pass on our love and support and provide as many opportunities as possible to the next generation of children. We have people in our lives who were blessed by adoption and would be honored to expand our family in this manner.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
