dear expectant mother
We hope you are doing well. Please know that you (and all expectant mothers) are in our thoughts, and pray that you are all immersed in love, peace and grace. This is a hard letter to write because we don't feel like we can truly express our humble and profound gratitude. You are the image of courage, selflessness and true love.
We want you to know that your baby will be loved unconditionally in our home. Your child will be welcomed to a home where love, patience, honesty, and laughter are the foundations of our relationships. As your child grows and experiences the ups and downs that life will deal, they will be supported and cherished. We will provide the best education but more importantly, in our home, we will teach kindness, forgiveness, and love.
Our hope is to have an open relationship with you, however we will completely respect your wishes and what you are comfortable with.
We wish you lots of love, peace and strength in this journey and all parts of your life.
We met while working together and have been inseparable since. We will celebrate our 13-year wedding anniversary this summer and have been together for 15 years. We are a fun-loving little family! We love to go camping, have family movie nights, explore a local forest, and cheer on our favorite sports team. Michael is a home mortgage lender, and Katie stays home with our son while growing her virtual assistant business. Michael loves to barbeque and smoke different kinds of meat. He also has a deep love for the Kansas City Chiefs. Katie says Michael is caring, smart, and loyal to his family. Katie is easy to make laugh, looks forward to her cup of coffee every morning, loves all kinds of music, and enjoys fitness challenges. She is passionate about animals and embarrasses Michael at concerts with her singing and dancing. Michael says Katie puts others before herself and is thoughtful and kind.
Our Home & Pets
Our two-story home is filled with lots of love and laughter! Our home is a four-bedroom house that sits on half an acre. We have a fun-filled backyard with a playground, tire swing, and trampoline. We enjoy family soccer nights, playing with our dog, Charlie, and watching movies on the patio. Our dog is a golden retriever/Samoyed and has a zest for life. He keeps us all laughing constantly! He is a really good cuddler; it’s like snuggling with a huge teddy bear. He’s so soft! We have lots of parks and a national forest nearby we like to explore. The school where our children will go is a private Catholic school. It is also where we go to church.
Our Extended Family
We are so fortunate to have a tight-knit family. Katie has two brothers and one sister, and Michael has one brother. Katie’s parents live within 20 minutes of us. They are so loving and involved in the grandkids’ lives. Katie’s sister and her family live 10 minutes away. We are fortunate to be together often, and the “Texas cousins” have a fun friendship. There are a total of nine grandkids on Katie’s side of the family. Even though we are not all geographically close, we talk all the time, and all the cousins are very close. It is beautiful chaos when we are all together. Michael’s mom loves to make baby clothes, blankets, and quilts. Michael and his dad and brother like to fish and watch sports together.
We love holidays—all of them! Katie enjoys decorating the house for all the holidays. Going to the pumpkin patch, Easter egg hunts, making Christmas cookies, building gingerbread houses, Christmas eve jammies, and Michael’s famous fried turkey are just some of our favorites.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are grateful for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption. We have spent the last four years trying to get pregnant again and have not had success. Even through the tribulation of infertility, we have remained thankful and choose joy every day. We have so much love to give another baby and to his or her mother. Katie has a friend who adopted her daughter, who is the same age as our son. We have learned so much and have such an appreciation for everyone involved in adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
