dear expectant mother
Dear Brave Expectant Mother,
God bless you and your courageous decision to bring your baby into this beautiful world! We hope you have peace in your decision and all the support you need. Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We hope we might be the right family for you.
Since we were both young, we felt God had instilled a strong desire to to be a wife and mother in Katie and the desire to be a husband and father in Josh. We are so grateful to have found each other and have been trying for the past several years to expand our family to fulfill those dreams. We have both been open to adoption since the beginning, and we are so excited to commit to the process.
If you were to choose us, we would love to have you involved in the child’s life as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
About Us
We met in 2016 and were engaged in 2017. In 2018 we were married in a Catholic church in Katie’s hometown. We enjoy playing cards, going for walks, playing pickleball, and making fires both inside and outside. Josh enjoys a career as an IT professional at a financial services company where he has been since he graduated from college. He has a great work–life balance and is fully dedicated to his home life. Josh has worked from home since moving to our city. Katie enjoys a career as an elementary school art teacher at a Catholic school. She loves interacting with and making a positive impact on all of the children at the school. Katie also works as a floral assistant part-time. She loves decorating, setting a table, and just making everything look pretty.
Our Home & Pets
We purchased our first and forever home in a wonderful suburb. The schools where we live are wonderful, and they have earned the National Blue Ribbon of Excellence awards. We have fantastic neighbors with whom we often get together. We love that our neighbors are very friendly with one another. We feel this neighborhood is the perfect place for children to grow up. Our home is a three-story colonial style with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. We also have a large backyard, which is great for a variety of playful activities for kids and our dog, Henry. Henry is a Shih-poo (Shizhu, mini poodle). He is AKC certified as a Canine Good Citizen. We also have two cats, Boo and Wilbur, who are both nine years old.
Our Extended Family
We are both the youngest children in our families. Katie is the youngest of four, and Josh is the youngest of five kids. Katie also has an incredibly large extended family in the area full of many aunts, uncles, cousins, and babies. We can’t wait to welcome a baby into our big, loving, supportive family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Sadly, we have been trying to expand our family for over four years now without any luck. Katie has had three fertility surgeries and multiple miscarriages. While we are struggling to have a biological baby, our hearts and home are yearning to have and hold a baby in our arms. We both have always been open to adopting, but now the time is right and we would absolutely love to adopt a baby.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
