dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to thank you for considering us to raise your child. We promise to be involved parents who offer a safe place to call home that surrounds your child with laughter, love, and support.
We promise to be your child’s biggest cheerleaders and advocates and look forward to bedtime stories, homework around the kitchen table, outdoor adventures, Saturday farmers markets, traveling, and family movie nights. We promise to expose your child to diverse activities, to put your child’s needs above ours, and to be there for all the moments as they grow. We know your decision is very difficult, but please know you are not alone. We will be here for you every step of the way and want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to have our dreams of raising a child become a reality.
If you decide to choose us as the family to raise your child, we will be here with open arms, ready to offer unconditional love and support.

About Us
We have been together for 15 years and married for 10. We work for a university where Katie leads the marketing team for the nursing division and Bob is a fundraiser for the health sciences division. During the week, we go to work, play with our dogs, take them for walks, cook dinner, and spend time with each other. On the weekends, we enjoy working on projects around the house, going to outdoor movies and the farmers market, cheering on our alma mater’s sports teams, and hanging out with friends and family. Bob is very kind-hearted, outgoing, and the life of any gathering. He knows how to make people feel included and valued. Although Katie is more reserved, she has a knack for making people feel at ease. Activities we enjoy include bowling, mini golf, walking on the trail near our home, and exploring the city for new things to do.
Our Home & Pets
We recently moved into our four-bedroom, three-bath home and found a neighborhood filled with young families. Kids play in their yards and ride their bikes up and down the sidewalks. We think this would be the perfect neighborhood to raise a family. There is also a park about half a block away and a walking trail that goes on for miles. The house offers two living rooms and a lot of space for kids to play both inside and in our fenced-in backyard. We have two dogs, Tillie and Kota, who love to cuddle, play, and go for walks. Well, Tillie only makes it about a block, but we are working on that. They go everywhere with us.
Our Extended Family
Bob’s mom and stepdad live on acreage with lots of room for kids to play. When we all get together, there is a lot of laughter and lots of friendly dogs. Bob’s mom loves to go to concerts and cook for family gatherings. Bob’s stepdad enjoys playing with the grandkids and showing them how to get their hands dirty. Bob’s sister has two grown daughters and one son. They cannot wait to have a cousin to hold and love.
Katie’s dad is a retired pilot, and her mom is a retired accountant. She loves to search for new recipes to cook for the family and enjoys water aerobics. Both are able to come over at any time and look forward to spoiling your baby. Katie’s brother is a pilot and owns his own plane. He takes us up for rides and is looking forward to sharing his passion for aviation with your baby. When we get together with Katie’s side of the family, there are also aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children. They love camping, playing games, and laughing the entire time.
We want you to know your baby will be loved by so many and will have memories that last a lifetime.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always had a lot of love for each other and knew we wanted to share that love with a child. However, when we learned we were unable to conceive naturally, it was heartbreaking. We spent years trying to improve ourselves through education and building our careers. However, we knew a piece of the puzzle was missing. When talking about how we both dream of becoming parents, we decided to pursue adoption and haven’t looked back. We are so excited about the opportunity to raise a child, and we didn’t want the barrier of us being unable to conceive naturally stop us from growing our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
