dear expectant mother
Let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to read my profile. It is much appreciated. It takes a lot of courage to consider an adoption plan, and I certainly don’t take that lightly. You considering me as a mother to raise your baby would be the greatest gift I could ever receive.
If you choose me, I promise to provide a safe, happy, loving home filled with joy. I know I was put on this earth to be a mom, and I have never been more ready for that to happen. Since I have waited until a little later in my life, I am more financially stable, I am more patient, I have a much better understanding of what’s truly important, and I have even more love to give. I promise to nurture your baby, to keep them safe, to support their dreams, to accept them as they are, and to love them unconditionally throughout their whole life.
I look forward to holding them, their first smile, their first laugh, their first crawl, their first steps, and their first day at school. And as they grow, I look forward to teaching them how to read, ride a bike, hit and catch a ball, dance, fly a kite, swim, and do yoga. I look forward to their big moments of graduations, falling in love, and starting a family of their own one day.

About Me
My name is Kathy, and I live in Illinois with my seven-year-old dog, Vinny. If my friends had to describe me, they would say I’m happy, kind, generous, loving, loyal, fun, honest, authentic, adventurous, and silly at times and that I love to laugh and to dance. I am a CPA and currently work as a tax compliant and financial analyst at an electronics manufacturing company. I am also a certified yoga teacher and teach part time for a local park district. I love being active in any way, but daily walks with my dog are my favorite. I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy yoga, running, pilates, gardening, and cooking. I really enjoy anything outside, just being in nature, lying in my hammock with my dog, or reading on a lounge chair.
My Home & Pets
I live in a three-bedroom split level with lots of natural light and a huge fenced-in backyard. There is plenty of room to play both inside and outside. My favorite thing about my home is my dog, Vinny. He is a lovable, fun shih tzu with a quirky personality and adores children. He will make the best big brother. I purchased my home specifically for the family-friendly neighborhood and great school districts. I have neighbors all around me with kids both small and big. I am only one block away from a huge park district with paths, fields, playgrounds, pools, and lots of open space to enjoy just about anything.
My Extended Family
The closest people in my family to me are my sister and my two nieces and nephew. All three of them are my godchildren, and we have always been extremely close. I was blessed to have the best mother in the whole world, who was incredibly patient, kind, fun, and full of love, but she was very ill and passed away about five years ago. I am very close with my aunts and uncles. I worked for the family business with my dad and sister for 13 years and basically got to see my nieces and nephew grow up daily.
There are many traditions I look forward to sharing with my child, like coloring Easter eggs on Good Friday, baking Christmas cookies, and hosting Thanksgiving, which includes making pies and traditional Polish food. Small traditions include family dinners and saying the best things about our day, carving pumpkins, my annual 4th of July party, and family picnics. Family vacations are very important, especially Disney World.
My family is very excited about the adoption. They can’t wait to see me actually become a mom and have a new little addition to the family.
What Led Me To Adoption
As long as I can remember, I have known I wanted to become a mother. I am a big believer that things happen when they should and as they should and that nothing comes before its time. I have thought about adoption for a long time, but within the last few years, I knew adoption was the route to motherhood I wanted to take. So for the last two years, I started preparing in every way I could. I bought a house, started budgeting, and saved money. I started talking to others who have adopted about their journey and started reading everything I could about the adoption process. Now here I am, and I have never been more ready for anything in my life.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
