dear expectant mother
We may not know you yet, but we already know you are the strongest person we will ever have the privilege to meet. Raising a child and growing our family is something we have wanted for a long time. However, this is something we cannot do without you. You are selfless, brave, and beautiful. We are so honored you are considering us to support, raise, and love your child.
We promise your child will be surrounded by oodles of joy, music, the arts, laughter, and love. We cannot wait to share our love for learning, adventure, and being silly. Every day will be an adventure: What can we learn today? What can we explore? What wonders can we find? Family gatherings will be full of playing with cousins and goofing around with grandparents. Above all else, we cannot wait to provide your child all the love and care a family can offer.
As teachers, we both feel very strongly about the joys of learning, reading, writing, and, most of all, exploring the world around us. The more knowledge you can soak up, the more wondrous and open the world becomes. We want to share that joy of learning with your child. We want them to be immersed in all the wonders the world can offer!
“Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.” -Misty Copeland (Ballerina)
We are Katelynn and Andrew. We went from being friends in high school to dating during college. In 2014, after six years of dating, we got married. Andrew did a surprise proposal in the middle of the atrium at a Green Bay Packers game. Katelynn could not have been more surprised or happy! Both of us are educators for area schools, with Katelynn teaching at the elementary level and Andrew teaching band. Katelynn is outgoing, organized, and incredible with children. Andrew is caring, supportive, and hard working. We are best friends who bring out the best in one another. We love to have fun in life and bring joy to all who cross our paths. We enjoy being outside—rain, shine, or snow! We enjoy the outdoors via hiking, kayaking, camping, riding bikes, and riding our motorcycle. We also love to play board games and do craft/DIY projects together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a two-bedroom duplex in a quiet neighborhood in Wisconsin. We love the size of our yard and the many parks our town has to offer! One of our favorite things is the local zoo, which focuses on many of the animals native to Wisconsin. We’ve walked around at the zoo countless times with our godson and our family friends. Our friends live nearby, and we enjoy playing board games and having campfires with them. We don’t currently have any pets, as we are waiting until we welcome a child into our home so they can grow up together.
Our Extended Family
Family is a big part of our lives! Katelynn’s family consists of her parents, two brothers and their spouses, and two nephews. Her parents are over the moon about the adoption journey and can’t wait to spoil another grandchild. The rest of the family is ecstatic about there being another little one running around at family gatherings and holidays! Katelynn’s family has a tradition of picking colors to wear on Christmas morning, and the most creative or adorable outfit wins the Christmas trophy.
Andrew’s family consists of his parents, one sister and her husband, and a young niece. His parents are very excited to welcome another grandchild into the family and to see this adventure continue! The rest of the family is very excited to meet the little one and to give our niece a cousin to play with! Andrew’s family has a tradition at Christmas of St. Nick bringing an ornament, and they also find the Christmas pickle on the tree in order to open the first gift!
Our close friends are our third family! They are all very excited about our journey through adoption. Our godson will welcome another kid to run around with!
What Led Us To Adoption
We started trying to grow our family around four years ago and faced infertility complications. During that period, we tried some infertility medications and a more natural approach through acupuncture. After a few years of attempting this, we started to talk with friends and coworkers who had adopted or have been involved in the life of somebody who was adopted. Everybody we spoke with had nothing but amazing things to say! This helped reassure us adoption was the way we were meant to start our family and share all the love we have to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
