dear expectant mother
It means so much to us that you are taking the time to read our profile. Even though we have never met you, we’re sending love and good vibes your way. We support you on your journey (even if we’re not a part of it). The path you’re considering is truly selfless and incredibly brave. We truly respect and admire you for the love you have for your child and the courage it takes to make such a difficult choice. There are no words that can fully express the gratitude we have for you.
We would be truly honored to adopt and raise the beautiful spirit you’re bringing into the world. Wes can’t wait to have a little one to take mountain biking and teach to snowboard. Kate is thrilled to teach your child yoga and how to grow vegetables in the garden. We promise to always provide a loving, grounded family for your child and enable him or her to have roots and wings. We can’t wait to read bedtime stories, go camping, and travel the world together. We will support your child’s dreams and aspirations in every way as he or she grows, changes, and explores.
We have dreamed of being parents since we met, and we are so thankful to have the opportunity for our dream to finally come true!
We have been together for five years and married for three. Wes is an officer in the USAF, and Kate is an occupational therapist. We met while we were living in Colorado and bonded instantly over our love of being outside. Our first date was a bike ride in the mountains. Two weeks later, we spent the weekend backpacking near Aspen and realized our relationship was something special. We’ve been inseparable ever since. We both love to read, cook, travel, and spend time with our pets. Wes mountain bikes and snowboards, while Kate loves yoga and is a skier. Last year, we got scuba certified and spent Christmas in Belize. We even got to pet the sharks and stingrays! We both see life as an adventure, and we love to see new places and try new things. We always keep an open mind to any possibility that crosses our path!
Our Home & Pets
Last year, we bought our home in Ohio in a lovely town with some of the highest-ranking schools in the state. Our house has a big front porch (which is Kate’s favorite part of the house), and we have a grassy backyard with a deck, which is great for cookouts and playing frisbee! We know all of our neighbors, and the children on our block come over all the time to visit our two pugs, Igor and Lucius. The pugs love to socialize and play in our backyard. We also have two cats, named Biscuits and Gravy. Gravy is very outgoing and considers himself to be the “alpha dog,” and Biscuits prefers to spend his days sitting on his mat surrounded by our houseplants.
Our Extended Family
Wes is an only child, but he comes from a huge family! All the aunts, uncles, and cousins live in the same town and get together frequently. His mother and stepfather have been married for twenty years, and both work at local churches. His father and step-mother have been married 29 years; his father is a nurse, and his step-mom is a speech language pathologist.
Kate’s parents have been married 37 years. Her dad is a lawyer, but in the process of retiring, and her mother is a retired fifth-grade teacher. Kate has a younger brother named Michael, who is an IT contractor.
We are both very close to our families and talk to them several times a week. We travel to see our families several times a year for holidays and visits. All six soon-to-be grandparents are thrilled about our plans to adopt and can’t wait spoil a baby (we’ve asked them to keep the spoiling to a reasonable level).
What Led Us To Adoption
We both love children and knew from the moment we met we wanted to start a family together. We got pregnant easily, but we were never able to carry to term. After going through treatment and realizing that a biological child wasn’t going to be possible, we knew the universe was calling us to adopt. No matter what path brings us to parenthood, we are thrilled to be able to call a child our own and start the next adventure for our family! We couldn’t be more ready to provide a baby with a loving, supportive home.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
