dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mom,

We are so grateful you found our profile and are considering us to adopt, love, and raise your baby. We know we cannot create a family without you, and we will honor you as part of our family forever.

Our hearts are open to love your baby unconditionally. We have experienced firsthand the joy of adoption and know how important it is to stay in contact with you as a birth mother if that’s your desire too. We will share a connection with you that is truly one of a kind, and we will love you as part of our family too. We believe in our deepest hearts that there is no limit to how a family can grow through love.

Thank you so much for considering us. We are so excited to get to know you.

About Us

Hello! We are John and Katie! We met in 2011 and are headed toward our eighth wedding anniversary. John is so funny, loves being social with friends and family, enjoys playing golf, and is always dreaming up travel plans. Katie is friendly, is active with friends, and loves to cook and bake. You can usually find us walking our two dogs around the neighborhood, doing house and garden projects, or down at the local ice cream shop. We both love to get away, whether it’s hiking outdoors, camping with our friends, or traveling to fun destinations. We are looking forward to sharing our lives with a child.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a growing neighborhood with lots of parks and fun activities. We bought our home because it has a great big backyard for our dogs to play in. It’s a cozy three-bedroom home, and we both enjoy doing house projects to make it our own. We also love having people over for backyard dinners and yard games. We have several big parks near our home with lots of walking and biking trails. We have made so many friends in our neighborhood and often walk to see them and play with their kids. We have our two small dogs, Pike and Charlie, and also two cats, Kiwi and Paisley. We like to grow veggies and herbs in our garden and spend lots of time outside.

Our Extended Family

We are both really close with our families and love to see them as often as possible. Katie’s mom visits regularly to go on dog walks and stays for dinner. We spend almost every holiday at John’s parents’ home, which is about an hour away, where they have a great 20-acre property. We go paddling around on their pond in a canoe and often see elk and deer in their yard. John’s sister and her husband live about 45 minutes away from us, and his brother and sister-in-law are close as well. We love visiting our niece and nephew to play video games and jump on their trampoline with them.

When our niece and nephew became old enough, we started “auntie and uncle day,” where we take them on a fun outing every month, like visiting the aquarium or a new park and packing a picnic. They have come to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat on Halloween and have had lots of BBQs in our backyard. We know our niece and nephew are so excited about having a new baby cousin to play with.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are so lucky to have a rich family history of adoption. Katie’s mom was adopted at birth and was deeply loved by her adoptive parents. She recently found her birth family and has been able to meet lots of new siblings and cousins. While we really enjoy our time together as a couple, we both know adding a child to our small family will add so much joy and happiness to our lives. We know adding an adopted child may also bring us the gift of their birth parents and look forward to a relationship that celebrates everyone in your child’s life. There is always room in our hearts for a growing family of people to love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
