dear expectant mother
As we sit here writing this, we cannot begin to fathom how difficult this decision is for you. We are in awe of your selflessness, and we are so grateful for you. We want you to know, if you choose us, we will never take for granted what you have given us.
We promise to make sure your baby grows up knowing how special they are and that they are loved beyond measure. We will protect your baby with everything we have. We will teach them blood does not make a family; love does.
We are excited to share our family traditions with your baby. We cannot wait to take them to their first opening day baseball game and teach them how to cheer, “Let’s go, Royals!” for our beloved baseball team. We love the beach and look forward to the first time we can take them and put their toes in the sand. We cannot wait to watch them interact with their cousins and teach them all about Robert’s Hispanic culture.
We look forward to creating memories and all the road trips we will have as we continue to try and visit all 50 states. We cannot wait to share our lives with a child.

About Us
We are Robert and Kara, and our story started about eight years ago. We had a class together in college, and Robert made the first move by giving Kara his number. Robert works as a mechanic, and Kara works as a title production coordinator for a title and settlement service company. We have one son, Jr, who is 20, from Robert’s previous marriage. We enjoy experiencing new adventures, and traveling has been a big part of our relationship. The beach is our favorite place to go. Our goal is to one day visit all 50 states. We love cheering on our hometown football and baseball teams. During football season, Sundays are spent watching whatever games are being shown. Robert loves to spend his free time gardening. Kara spends her free time reading or crafting.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom raised ranch house on a quiet dead-end street. We have a nice fence in the backyard with a huge cottonwood tree right in the middle. Our dog, Chloe, loves to run around in the yard while Tom the cat watches safely from inside. There are several parks within a mile of our home for perfect family fun. There is a small treeline on the other side of the neighbors’ yards, and we see a lot of deer in the fall and spring. We have recently added a small greenhouse in our backyard for Robert to have a small garden year round.
Our Extended Family
Most of Kara’s family lives close by; her mom and sisters live within 20 minutes. Her brothers have ventured off, with one living in Alabama and the other stationed in South Carolina. Kara has a huge extended family that lives within an hour’s drive, including her biological dad.
Robert has one sister who lives in Indiana, and the rest of his family is in Texas. We don’t let them being that far away hinder our interaction; we constantly talk and text. We love our road trips and the memories we create when we go visit family. We look forward to having road trips and adventures to see family with your baby. One of our favorite traditions is celebrating the home opening day of our baseball team. It’s a big family affair, and we love it.
Our families are so excited about our adoption plans. They are constantly talking about how much they cannot wait for the cousins to interact and watch them grow up together. They want to know what they can do to help in the process and are always asking questions.
What Led Us To Adoption
After trying unsuccessfully to have a biological child, we truly believe adoption is the path we are supposed to be on. Kara was raised by two amazing “step” parents that have shown family does not have to be biological. We have seen first hand through family how rewarding adoption can be and are excited to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
