dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about us. We know this decision cannot be easy. Please know we are in awe of your strength and we wish you peace during this time.
We cannot wait to grow our family and include a child in our favorite traditions. We love our local baseball team and cannot wait to take them to their first opening day. We look forward to the memories we will create on our road trips, including putting their toes in the sand for the first time.
As you make this decision, our promise should you choose us is to make sure your baby grows up to know not only how special they are but you as well. That they are loved beyond measure and that blood doesn't make a family; love does.

About Us
We are Robert and Kara, and our story started about eight years ago. We had a class together in college, and Robert made the first move by giving Kara his number. Robert works as a mechanic, and Kara works as a title production coordinator for a title and settlement service company. We have one son, Jr, who is 20, from Robert’s previous marriage. We enjoy experiencing new adventures, and traveling has been a big part of our relationship. The beach is our favorite place to go. Our goal is to one day visit all 50 states. We love cheering on our hometown football and baseball teams. During football season, Sundays are spent watching whatever games are being shown. Robert loves to spend his free time gardening. Kara spends her free time reading or crafting.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom raised ranch house on a quiet dead-end street. We have a nice fence in the backyard with a huge cottonwood tree right in the middle. Our dog, Chloe, loves to run around in the yard while Tom the cat watches safely from inside. There are several parks within a mile of our home for perfect family fun. There is a small treeline on the other side of the neighbors’ yards, and we see a lot of deer in the fall and spring. We have recently added a small greenhouse in our backyard for Robert to have a small garden year round.
Our Extended Family
Most of Kara’s family lives close by; her mom and sisters live within 20 minutes. Her brothers have ventured off, with one living in Alabama and the other stationed in South Carolina. Kara has a huge extended family that lives within an hour’s drive, including her biological dad.
Robert has one sister who lives in Indiana, and the rest of his family is in Texas. We don’t let them being that far away hinder our interaction; we constantly talk and text. We love our road trips and the memories we create when we go visit family. We look forward to having road trips and adventures to see family with your baby. One of our favorite traditions is celebrating the home opening day of our baseball team. It’s a big family affair, and we love it.
Our families are so excited about our adoption plans. They are constantly talking about how much they cannot wait for the cousins to interact and watch them grow up together. They want to know what they can do to help in the process and are always asking questions.
What Led Us To Adoption
From early on in our relationship when we talked about kids, adoption was always a topic for us. After being married for a few years we decided to try and have a baby. After a miscarriage and infertility issues we started talking about adoption again. After much discussion, we truly believe this is the path that we are meant to be on.
Kara has 2 amazing "step" parents that have shown family does not have to be biological. We have also seen through family how rewarding adoption can be. We cannot wait to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
