We met through friends eight years ago. Patrick got his haircut every few weeks at the salon where Julie works. After many friendly conversations, Patrick asked Julie on a date. They went out a few weeks later, and have been inseparable ever since! After just over a year of dating, Patrick proposed. The wedding was at a friend's property, followed by a reception at Patrick's family riverfront campground. It was a fun event filled with family, friends, music, and dancing. Patrick enjoys many outdoor hobbies, including snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, and rock climbing. He is also quite the handyman, having just completed a beautiful addition to our home. Julie is outgoing and she loves crafting, dancing, skydiving, cooking, and entertaining friends. Traveling is something we both enjoy. Patrick and Julie love adventure, whether that means camping, boating, hiking with the dogs, riding bikes, or hopping a plane to Hawaii!
Our Home & Pets
We live in the beautiful Northwest, where the mountains meet the ocean. Our town is small and the neighborhood is very safe and welcoming. There is an elementary school on our block, as well as a large playground and a community park with soccer and baseball fields. We walk our two dogs down our street - Zuko and Cooper love to go to the park! Zuko is a Siberian Husky/Shepard and Cooper is a small mixed dog. They love playing at the beach and taking car rides. During the summer, we spend most of our time at our family lake house, which is only 15 minutes from our home. At the lake house, we love boating, jet skiing, fishing, swimming, BBQing, and playing card games with friends and family.
Our Extended Family
We both come from large families. Patrick's parents, Tom and Suzanne, have been married for 35 years. Tom works with Patrick at their family-owned glass shop, and Suzanne runs the cafeteria at a local elementary school. Patrick has a sister, Trisha, who is married to Armando, and they have two beautiful children. Brooklyn is three-years-old and Owen is one-year-old.
Julie's parents, Greg and Renee, have been married for 40 years. Greg works as a window salesman, and Renee is a second-grade teacher. Julie has a sister, Sarah, who is married to Ryan, and they were blessed with their first child, Charlie, a year ago. Julie still has three living grandparents with whom she is very close.
Our immediate families all live within 15 miles of us! On Sundays we have dinner with Patrick's family, and on Thursdays we enjoy family dinner night at Julie's Grandma's house. Patrick's father is the youngest of three, and his mother is the youngest of five. He has 12 cousins, and the family reunions are always a blast. Julie's father is the oldest of three, her mother is the oldest of two, and she has eight cousins.
What Led Us To Adoption
Being parents is something both of us have desired since we were young and it has always been part of our future plans. To conceive and carry a child has been a struggle. Families are made in many ways - conception, fostering, and adoption - and we both feel that the love that binds people together is what creates a family. Adoption is something near and dear to our hearts, as two of Julie's childhood friends were adopted, and we have many friends today who have adopted children as well. We are fortunate to have a support system to rely on for each step of our adoption journey. Becoming parents is something we are excited about and ready for. We would love to give our lives and love to a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
