dear expectant mother

First, we would like to say thank you for considering an adoption plan for your precious child. We can never fully understand the emotions you have had to endure while making this life-altering decision. However, we are so very thankful that you are taking the time to read our profile and get to know us. We thank you for considering us as potential, loving parents for the precious life that you hold within your heart and soul.

There is a quote that we have come to love that is summarized by saying that the child that calls us Mommy and Daddy was born to another woman, and the privilege of having that child to call our own is not lost upon us. Adoption may not have been our first choice to complete our family, but it is certainly the right choice because it would certainly be our greatest honor to become your chosen parents for your child.

We are ready for all the late night feedings, early morning diaper changes, and constant worry and joy that encapsulates parenthood. We know that your journey has had many ups and downs, as has ours, and we pray daily for you and your child. Above all, we want you to know that your child will grow up in a loving household where hopefully he or she will feel that he or she were hoped for and prayed for long before we knew them.

About Us

We are David and Julie. We met as teenagers in our home church’s youth group. We quickly became very good friends and coworkers. Our love blossomed due to spending quality time working together daily. Our first date was to see Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. We have been inseparable ever since - we have been married for ten years. We enjoy camping in our local state parks as well as taking frequent trips to Walt Disney World and our area beaches.

David works in sales for a national fire sprinkler distributor, and Julie is a nurse in the Pediatric ICU at our local county hospital. We spend time together cooking, reading, and playing competitive board games with our friends. We are very much looking forward to our exciting future and to seeing what God has in store for us as a family.

Our Home & Pets

We recently bought a three-bedroom townhome in the metropolitan area of our county in Florida. We are far enough removed from bustling downtown to have plenty of peace and quiet. We have relaxing areas to visit, but we are close enough to the city to enjoy the perks of the area in which we live. Our neighborhood is nice and quiet, and our gated community has a wonderful pool and play area. We have two rescue cats, both of which are very loving and very vocal about wanting to be played with and petted! Our older cat, Patches, is a Tortoise Calico, and her younger sister, Cessa, is also a Calico. They both enjoy long naps in the sun and running up and down the stairs.

Our Extended Family

We are very blessed to have both sets of future grandparents living within a 30-minute drive from our home. They are very excited to be on our journey with us and to give us guidance and assistance throughout our voyage into parenthood. We celebrate all holidays and milestones as one large family, oftentimes at our home. All celebrations include lots of good food and family fun!

David has two younger brothers, both in stable long-term relationships. They are excited about the prospects of becoming uncles and aunts. His grandparents and aunt and uncle live a short drive away, and they are ready and waiting for the child God has chosen for us. David’s parents still attend the church where we first met over 15 years ago, and they are eagerly looking forward seeing us grow into the roles of parents.

Julie’s mother is retired and lives only a few minutes from our home. She is so very excited to be a grandmother. Although Julie’s father passed away many years ago, we feel as though he is rejoicing in our decision to adopt, just as he was adopted into his family.

What Led Us To Adoption

Six years ago we decided to begin our journey to become parents. At first, we were unsuccessful and we pursued help with fertility. We met with many different doctors and began to undergo fertility treatments. During a break in our treatment, we were devastated to find that we had miscarried. We began treatments again as soon as we were able and were unable to conceive. We decided to forgo further treatments. However, we were again faced with a miscarriage. At that time we felt as though God was leading us towards completing our family through the gift of adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
