dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to first thank you for taking the time to consider us as an adoptive family. We are honored and humbled. We know this is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, decisions you have ever had to make in your entire life. We know this is not easy. We want the best both for you and the baby, and we want you to have every opportunity to pursue every option available and make the best decision both for you and the baby. Most of all, we hope and pray for your health, along with the baby’s health, both physically and mentally. We want you to have all the support and help you need while you are on this journey.

Please know that if we are chosen as adoptive parents for your child, we will love them endlessly. Your baby will always be safe and well cared for in our home. Should you bless us with this amazing gift of making us parents, your baby will attend great schools and have a lot of friends among the neighborhood children. The baby will have an extended family that will love them to no end.

It is not our wish to persuade you either way, only to help give you some insight into who we are and hopefully give you the information you need to make the best decision for you and your baby. Should you choose us, we will be forever grateful for you and the sacrifice you made, and you will also hold a special place in our hearts.

About Us

We are Juan and Juliana! We both grew up in North Carolina and met while we were attending college at the same university. Juan is currently an attorney, and Juliana is a behavior analyst, providing behavior therapy (ABA) to children who have autism. We especially love being outdoors and enjoy several outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, gardening, and backyard chicken keeping. We have a dog we enjoy taking on hikes and to the river almost every weekend during the summer. When relaxing inside, we enjoy watching TV shows and movies (we are big Star Wars and Jurassic Park fans) and doing Legos as well as cuddling with our dog.

Our Home & Pets

We recently bought a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Our house is on a cul-de-sac, and we have a large, fenced-in backyard. We also have great neighbors! One of our next door neighbors has four children who come over frequently to play with our dog and our chickens. There are a lot of children in the neighborhood, and we are in a great location, close to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. We are also in a very desirable school district as our neighborhood is zoned for some of the best schools in the state.

Our Extended Family

We have a large extended family and support network in North Carolina. Juliana’s dad’s family is from North Carolina and still resides in the state. On her dad’s side, Juliana’s grandparents are still alive, and all six of her father’s siblings are still alive and have families of their own. Juliana’s mom’s family is from Florida and still resides there. On her mom’s side, Juliana’s grandparents have passed away, but all three of her mom’s siblings are still alive and have families of their own. We enjoy getting together and attending family reunions and special events, such as weddings, when possible.

Juan’s parents are both from Mexico. Juan’s dad is one of seven children, and his mom is one of fourteen children. That is a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins! Juan’s extended family lives in Mexico, Texas, and Illinois. Juan’s dad’s parents are both still alive, and Juan’s mom’s dad is still alive, but her mother passed away a long time ago. Juan’s extended family also enjoys getting together and attending family reunions and special events.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are so excited to adopt! We recently bought a house with plenty of space to share and have so much love in our hearts to give. We are unable to conceive naturally, and after much discernment, we decided that rather than undergo fertility treatments, we would much rather grow our family through the miracle of adoption. Juliana’s mom and dad both have cousins who were adopted, so this is something Juliana is somewhat familiar with from this personal experience.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
