If you choose us, we will put our whole hearts into providing your baby a supportive, joyful home full of love and laughter! We will build your child’s self-esteem and make sure they know that their voice and actions can impact the world. We will raise your baby to understand that kindness, compassion, and seeing the world through other people’s eyes can make all the difference. Your child will have the opportunity to travel and experience other cultures, and Augusto will be sure that your child learns to speak Spanish. Our family and friends would welcome your child with open arms and act as a supportive village as your child develops into a wonderful human being. And your child would have two amazing big brothers who would do everything possible to make your baby feel as special and as happy as can be!

About Us
Joy grew up in Ohio and later had the fantastic opportunity to travel the world while studying and working in the human rights field. She is now an attorney and is lucky to be able to work from home almost every day. Augusto is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to the U.S. 15 years ago for graduate school and decided to make a life here. He is a business manager for a large company. We met in 2011, quickly discovered we were kindred spirits, fell in love, and married in 2013. Since then, we have traveled to several countries together, and we also love biking, scuba diving, concerts, and spending time together and with friends and family. Our two wonderful little boys are our greatest joy, and the whole family is so excited and hopeful about the possibility of welcoming a new baby into the family!
Our Home & Pets
We have a big toy-filled home in a safe, friendly neighborhood in a lovely Illinois town, with excellent schools and a playground directly behind our house. We live blocks from the beach, parks, restaurants, and ice cream shops, and we are only 30 minutes away from a large city full of museums, sports stadiums, festivals, and unlimited resources. At home, we also have two affectionate, playful (and non-shedding!) little dogs who are beloved members of our family! We are so excited for the opportunity to welcome your baby into this community that we feel so lucky to live in!
Our Extended Family
Family means the world to us! Joy has a large extended family with cousins galore spread around the midwest, and her parents are truly wonderful with their grandchildren! Her family gets together regularly at the lake house, takes fun family vacations together, and spends a week together every summer at a camp on the beautiful northern Michigan lakeshore! We love to have big, super fun family birthday parties, picnics, and Christmases.
Most of Augusto’s family, including his three siblings, live in Argentina. His mother splits her time between Argentina and Florida and has a home on the ocean not too far from Disneyworld! His family comes to our home for visits, and we try to go to Argentina every couple of years to visit family and friends and to give the children an opportunity to experience different customs, traditions, language, and culture.
We have several very close friends with young children who we think of as family, and we get together with them as often as possible for games, food, and fun! Our families and friends absolutely adore our children and shower them with love and affection, and they are so excited to welcome a new child into our loving, nurturing family circle!
What Led Us To Adoption
It has been our dream to have three children, and we were extremely lucky to be able to have two children biologically. However, both pregnancies had many complications, and a third would be too risky. Adoption gives us the possibility to have our dream family and to give a child a wonderful life full of love, laughter, and family fun! Our children are the center of our universe, and a new baby would receive the same unconditional love, affection, compassion, and kindness that our children experience every day!

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
