dear expectant mother
We know you are an amazing, courageous woman and probably never expected to be in this position. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and let you know how much we truly appreciate you taking the time to consider us to raise your sweet baby. We know adoption is right for our family and have chosen this path over infertility treatments. Our daughter cannot wait to become a big sister, and we are all so excited to be given the opportunity to complete our family.
It’s hard to describe exactly what our day-to-day life would be like raising our future child, but here are a few things we can assure you of. Should you choose us, your child will have no question in their mind that they are loved unconditionally. They will know how brave and selfless you were during such a difficult and emotional time in your life. They will have an awesome education, a safe and supportive home full of laughter, and endless opportunities to foster their passions. Lastly, your child will grow to know Jesus and to love others, even through differences.
We want you to know we will be forever grateful for considering the blessing you may bring into our family. We are so thankful for you and the strong, beautiful person you are.
About Us
We met our freshman year of college and have been together ever since. We were both student athletes (Jourdan played softball and Brandon played basketball) and love to do anything outside and active. Soon after college, we bought our first home. Remodeling our house together snowballed into a career we never imagined: flipping houses. We are a great team and complement each other well; we always joke that Jourdan is the “gas” and Brandon is the “brakes.” Between real estate investing and running a design business, we get to work together every day. We are incredibly lucky to be able to spend as much time as we do together. Our daughter, Hadley, has accompanied us on our house adventures from day one. We have many memories of her with us at the job sites, and now that she is older, she has a TON of thoughts on opinions on the design process!
Our Home & Pets
We love our neighborhood! We live a few blocks from an adorable main street and can walk to anything we need. There is also a great trail system right next to our house that we use nearly every day in the summer. We live in a charming 1900s farmhouse that we renovated two years ago. We spend a lot of time in our fenced-in backyard as a family. We adopted our loving family dog, Berkley, in 2013 from the local Humane Society. She is the absolute sweetest dog in the world. Berkley is amazing with kids; she and Hadley (our almost five-year-old) are best buddies.
Our Extended Family
Both of our families are very close. We each have two siblings we are very close with, and they live only a few minutes away from us. We are extremely lucky our daughter gets to play with her ten cousins so often!
We spend a lot of our time at Brandon’s family cabin in northern Minnesota. Brandon’s dad built the log cabin himself during Brandon’s childhood. Two other family members own cabins right next door, so there’s never a shortage of people, dogs, food, or fun. We have countless sentimental memories of the lake.
Jourdan has a very large family that loves to get together and loves to travel. Each July we make our way to Missouri for a week and rent out a small cabin resort on the lake with a large group of friends and family. Last August was our 27th annual camping/biking trip in southern Minnesota. This tradition typically includes 30 to 40 extended family members and friends. It’s our favorite family tradition, and we look forward to it every summer.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been on our hearts. When we weren’t able to conceive again after our first child, we didn’t want to try all the treatments that were available; we knew deep down adoption was the right path for us. We have seen how amazing adoption can be for everyone involved and are truly humbled to be a part of something so meaningful and amazing. We are extremely excited for this journey and for the awe-inspiring people we will meet along the way.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
