dear expectant mother

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read through our letter and considering us as a family for your child. We know this is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever have to make. It takes amazing courage and unselfish, sacrificial love to want to provide the best for your child.

If you choose us, we are excited to provide a loving, nurturing, and stable home for your child. Adoption means the world to us as that is how our daughter became ours. Our hearts and home are ready to welcome another bundle of joy into our family. Your child will be part of a family that focuses on a strong faith, love, a connected family, and providing life experiences. Our family values education and having opportunities to explore the world around us. We also look forward to providing your child the opportunity to learn valuable skills, such as swimming, music, sports, and other interests they want to explore.

Our family would enjoy having an open adoption since we understand the importance of your child having a connection with his or her birth family. We look forward to getting to know you and building a relationship with you and your family. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you continue on this journey and hope you will consider our family for your child.

About Us

We met through a mutual friend at a local bowling alley and have been married for 18 years. We have built our relationship on trust, love, and our faith in the Lord. We have an amazing eight-year-old daughter who is the love of our life. Joshua is a fifth grade teacher and has spent most of his career working with youth. Jennifer is a stay-at-home mom. She loves being able to stay at home to support our daughter and the foster children who come into our home. We are a fun, loving, and caring family, and we value family time, which includes game nights, hiking, traveling to local rivers and beaches, and spending time on the mountain. We love having family get-togethers where we will barbeque, play games, and catch up with everyone. One of our favorite activities is to go camping during the summer. We love exploring new places and traveling.

Our Home & Pets

We live in an amazing, family-friendly neighborhood in Washington State. Our house is a one-story, three-bedroom, 2.5-bath open concept home. It sits on a quarter of an acre, which provides a big backyard to play in. We have a swingset and lots of fun play equipment. We are located near multiple parks, which we frequent regularly. There are lots of young children in our neighborhood who play with our daughter. Our pets include a German shepherd lab mix dog and a cat. Our dog is great with kids, and the neighbor kids love to come over and play with her. Her name is Belle, and we love to take her on walks. Our cat, Cherry Pie Sugar, was named by our daughter.

Our Extended Family

Jennifer’s parents have been married for 40 years. Her sister is in a nine-year relationship, and he has two children: 15 years old and 20 years old. We live about 15 minutes away from Jen’s family.

Josh’s parents have been married for 46 years. Josh has two brothers. The both have two children each, ages six to seventeen. We also live close to Josh’s family.

We have cousins and family friends in the area whom we are close to as well. Family is very important to us, and we love to have family get-togethers on a regular basis. We also go out and do a lot of activities with our families, including camping, exploring parks and hiking trails, and taking part in local activities. We spend Thanksgiving in a cabin on a mountain and go on multiple camping trips during the summer. Our extended family supports our decision wholeheartedly and is excited to welcome another child into our family.

Our Adoption Story

Due to infertility and Jen having a recent hysterectomy, we are unable to have biological children. Adoption is deeply cherished by us; without it, we would not have our daughter. Our adoption story began 10 years ago. We were chosen by a birthmother when she was approximately six months pregnant. This allowed us to support her through the last months of pregnancy and build a strong relationship with her and her family. For the last five years, we have been foster parents. Currently we are only taking short-term foster baby placements while we wait for our forever child through private adoption. Our daughter is very excited to have a sibling, and we are excited to have another child to complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
