dear expectant mother

Wow…Where do we begin? Thank you just seems way too inadequate! You are giving us something we can’t have. How do you thank an Angel??

We know this was something you never expected, but we are so very humbled and in awe of your bravery as you consider adoption. You are so very strong, and we pray and lift you up for who you are, what you are doing, and who you will become!

You will always be a cherished part of your child’s life and they will know how much you love them. We’d like to update you with pictures as they grow if that’s also something you would want. We know this is a lot to grasp, just know we are so very grateful and will cherish your child. We will do our best to ensure they are happy, full of love, family, laughter, health, and faith.

About Us

We are about to celebrate our 8th anniversary of marriage in November. Our wedding was a simple, family-involved, love-filled, perfect day and evening - many of our friends can’t wait for us to renew our vows. The years have flown by, yet we feel we’ve known each other for so much longer. Our meeting was definitely a “God thing” to say the least!

Josh has had his own Lawn Maintenance Business for 15+ years. Patty is a pharmacist and has been practicing for 20+ years. We enjoy many outdoor activities (i.e.. fishing, camping, kayaking), DIY projects, gardening, etc. Individually, Josh likes gaming and Patty likes crafting and reading. Together, we enjoy cooking, and annually make family ornaments and a plethora of Christmas cookies that are given to family members and friends; one of many traditions passed down. We work great together at home, in the business side-by-side, and in life. Our relationship has gone through trials and they have only made it stronger. Each day we are grateful to God for Him, each other, His uncountable Blessings, and how we can honor Him. We learn from our yesterdays, strive for our today's, and hope for our tomorrows.

Our Home & Pets

Our ranch-style home can be very deceiving from the outside. As you enter, it’s spacious, warm and welcoming with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and two full decks. Although we live in the city, our backyard transports you to the country. Once you think you’ve seen everything, you are directed downstairs to the finished basement, with an additional living space which opens out onto a full deck. A common reference to our home is “the house that keeps going”.

We have two loving fur babies, Cusa (pronounced “coosha’), a 13-year-old black lab mix, and Cyri, a 3-year-old husky/chow/etc. mix, whose name means “the grey” and is a reference to her coloring. They are both very well socialized with people of all sizes and ages. Cyri more so, as we wanted her to be exposed to people, sounds, things, sights, etc. to allow her to be a more calm and acceptable companion wherever we went.

Our Extended Family

Josh has an older sister, Kelly, and brother, Will; both of whom both live out of state, and are married with children. His parents live nearby, as does his Grandmama and Grammie, and a large amount of extended family. Patty has one older sister, also named Kelly, who lives out of state and is married with older children. Her parents live a few hours away, but visits one way or the other are done as often as possible. We get together frequently for BBQs, family meals, pool outings, fishing, football parties, etc. We all support, encourage, and love each other, and gatherings are a great time to strengthen that bond.

What Led Us To Adoption

Directly after we got married, we tried to start a family and realized there was a problem. We went through so many fertility procedures we lost count! Sadly, all our efforts ended in a hysterectomy. We still want a family desperately, and know God has directed us to adoption. We have so much love in our hearts and feel so ready!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
