dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our profile and for considering us as parents to your child. As we write this, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion, and also with love and gratitude.
We meet with you in this moment with nothing but love and compassion. Maybe you have dreams for your child, and we would love to hear them. We have dreams for your child as well. We have promises to you and goals for ourselves as parents. We promise to be the strongest advocates in your child's corner, celebrating every achievement and picking them up when they are down. We promise to provide him or her with a home filled with unconditional love and laughter, and a life filled with great experiences, culture, education, adventure, and the security that allows them to reach for the stars.
We hope you will consider us as a family for your child. Such a gift would be an honor and privilege. We can't wait to speak with you!
We are Joseph and Devan. We started dating March 2011 and married in a small church in August 2011. We have now been happily married for almost seven years. Joseph is a big kid at heart, with a great sense of humor, a very laid back personality, and he is a very hard worker. He works for the army and has been in for seven years. Devan has a big heart and always puts her family and friends first. She is a former Child Youth Program Assistant and absolutely loved her job, but last year she decided to find a job that would offer more assistance with her infertility and help us start our family. Some of our favorite things to do are making spontaneous road trips together, having game nights on the weekend, spending time with our friends and family, and having bonfires whenever we can.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a wonderful one-story home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our home is located in a very quiet neighborhood that is only a couple minutes from all of the schools in our district, which are the best rated schools around the area. Many families have lived here for a while, but we moved into our home December of 2016 and have enjoyed every minute of it. We have a huge, fenced-in backyard where our dogs, Maddox and Kobey, get to play and where we hold bonfires. We love being able to hear the laughter of all the neighborhood kids playing, and of course, anticipate our everyday visit from the neighborhood dog, Brody.
Our Extended Family
Joseph has one older sister, three older step-brothers, and one younger step-brother who live in Georgia, along with his mom, dad, and step-parents. Devan has two younger brothers, one younger sister, and three younger step-brothers, along with her mom, dad, and step-parents. Her family is scattered all over between Georgia and Virginia.
Even though our families live all over, we get to see Devan’s mother and step-father at least once a week and the rest of our family during special occasions and every holiday. Our brothers, sisters, and parents are so looking forward to welcoming a little one into the clan!
What Led Us To Adoption
At the age of 13, Devan found out she was born with a rare condition that affected her female reproductive organs, and prevented her from conceiving a baby. Devan had to have a hysterectomy, along with a few other surgeries. Ever since we started dating, we knew that the only way we would be able to start our family was through adoption or IVF/Surrogacy. We decided adoption would be the best choice to start our family, and we are ecstatic to finally have the chance to begin this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
