dear expectant mother
The greatest compliment we have received as a couple was being selected by one of our dearest friends as godparents to their baby boy. The honor and responsibility of assisting in the raising of their child in the faith truly humbled us. This amazing couple looked to us as the best example of a family that would provide for, protect, and nurture their precious son if they were unable to do so.
Just like we were honored with our selection as godparents by our dear friends, we are again humbled by you taking the time to consider us to raise your baby. It is a privilege that we do not take lightly, and we are eternally grateful for the blessing that you are considering granting our family. If given the chance, we pledge to provide your child with the selfless love we have been wanting to pass on for so many years and vow to always put your child’s needs as our first priority. Our new goal, every morning when we wake, will be to ensure your baby has a loving and safe home for the rest of our lives.
We’re Jose and DeAnne. All of our family and friends know Jose is the fun one, but DeAnne holds her own too. DeAnne is a medical sales representative with a home office and flexible hours. Jose is an engineer by day, and by night, he fails miserably at attempting to play golf. We’ve been married for five years and enjoy everything from evening walks to our favorite restaurant, trips to root on the local MLB team, afternoons by the lake and pool, and sometimes simply staying at home with a book or magazine while sitting on the front balcony. Weekends are saved for family and long walks with our French bulldog. Sundays are spent at church followed by one of DeAnne’s great home-cooked meals. In general, we love any activity as long as we can enjoy it together and laugh through life’s ups and downs.
Our Home & Pets
After living in the suburbs for over eight years, we just recently moved into the city to get closer to work, better schools, and the lovely parks and walking trails around our home. We live in a Victorian-style house with four large white columns in the front. It’s a four-bedroom home with beautifully manicured gardens and detailed, black wrought iron fencing. Currently, our home is only occupied by us and our little buddy, Ramses the Great. He’s a five-year-old French bulldog that we love to spoil, and honestly, he gets even more spoiled by our extended family.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is comprised of Mexicans and Palestinians. It’s the best excuse ever to be close to family around the holidays because of all the home cooking! Both our families live within a 10-minute drive of each other, so family birthdays, holidays, and sporting events are shared between both sides of the family. Just imagine sitting with GranDad watching Mexican soccer while one grandmother is cooking the most excellent Arabic food. The other family members are sitting around discussing which Mexican sweet bread we are having for dessert, the cousins are outside jumping in and out of the pool, and the aunts and uncles are barbecuing the best Mexican fajitas and “cabrito” you have ever sampled in your life. This describes a typical Saturday afternoon for us.
What Led Us To Adoption
We chose adoption because we knew we wanted to grow our family. After discovering we were not able to have biological children, we looked to our faith to help us. After conversations with our priest, family, and friends, we came to the conclusion that if we wanted to see a little Jose or little DeAnne running around our home, the best way for us to get there would be through the miracle of adoption. Now that we have started this journey together, we have been blessed with support, feedback, and wonderful stories from everyone we have interacted with. These conversations have taught us that adoption is the right way for us to pass on the many blessings we have been given.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
