dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We hope to not only grow our family but we also want to ensure that you and your baby are comfortable with the steps of the adoption process. The decisions we make with you will ensure that your baby has an amazing start. We are very open to answering questions about us and would like to get to know you better at any level you’re comfortable with. Thank you for considering us!
About Us
We have a love of the Gulf Coast area and its family-oriented environment. We are most likely to be found on our airboat, building weekend fires, or just laid out on the floor playing with Charlotte, Joe’s four-year-old daughter. Our own childhoods and backgrounds lend to a strong focus on learning in and out of school as well as lots of outdoor fun. There’s lots to do on 400+ acres! We’re both passionate about work as we feel like we directly and indirectly help people within the company and our community. We have worked hard in our careers and are each on the path toward leadership in our companies. Our home base is Alabama, but Jordan is currently on an assignment in Texas. We’d liken us to a modern-day Green Acres couple (you may have to google this sitcom) that strives to ensure our family is rooted in a sense of local community but with exposure to a diverse world.
Our Home & Pets
Jordan has a flexible work schedule and is home most of the week. Our home in Alabama is on a large plot of land that lends itself to learning about the forestry and marine life in the delta. Charlotte’s older half-sister (13) is a frequent visitor, and we always have her room ready. By school age, your little one will be enrolled in the school that Charlotte is currently attending due to the level of engagement and attention from the staff. We can’t end this introduction without mentioning Loca and Frank! Loca is the silliest miniature boxer, and Frank is a friendly cat who has decided to take up residence with us recently.
Our Extended Family
Your little one would have grandparents who live very close in Alabama, eight aunts and uncles, 14 first cousins, and some very close friends of our family. They are all excited for us.
Holiday meals are a must at Paw Paw and Gamma’s house. Boating and family meals are a common way we ensure that connections are kept and love is shown across the family. For those who aren’t close, FaceTime has been a valuable tool for us. We both played and loved sports, and instruments were a big part for much of our family. Our hope is to continue these passions in whatever area your child seeks so there is always something they enjoy and pursue beyond work to enrich their lives.
What Led Us To Adoption
We see adoption as an opportunity to grow our family. Your little one would be a loved child, sibling, grandchild, niece or nephew, etc. The grandparents are especially excited! We’ve seen the amazing impact adoption has had in the fallout of Hurricane Katrina as so many new students entered Jordan’s school. A few had been adopted by local families when no caretakers were left. The love and support developed among those families impressed upon us how important and rewarding adoption can be. We are at a place where we are mentally, physically, and financially eager to adopt and hope to find you soon!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
