First and foremost, you are a hero and thank you! Thank you for making tough decisions with the best interest of your baby in mind. Thank you for being unselfish and brave through this difficult process. And thank you for considering us to be the loving and caring family for your baby. If selected, please know that we will love the child as our own. Know that we look forward to guiding your baby through all of the trials, tribulations, growing pains, and milestone memories involved with growing up. And know that your baby will be raised in a house full of love, laughter, and family values.
One of our best friends was adopted and we also have a relative who adopted a child. We consider those birthmothers angels. Had it not been for the tough decisions the birthmothers made we would not have the miracle of them in our lives. The same holds true for you. Whoever you select as the adoptive parents of your child will be blessed with the greatest gift of all; the gift of life and love. Something only an angel can provide.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about us. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
We are Jonathon and Jamie and have been married since 2011. More important than being husband and wife; we are a team. That is the most important thing to us. Since getting married we’ve realized that every aspect of our family life is better if we approach it as a team. Neither of us would be where we are today without the help and support of the other. Jamie is a certified Veterinary Technologist who is currently working on getting her certification in canine rehabilitation. She is also a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Reserves. To relax, Jamie likes to read a good book or enjoy the outdoors. Jonathon owns an online media company with the goal of teaching and inspiring others to learn and take up the trade of woodworking. While growing the business, he realized how much he enjoys teaching and helping others learn as much as possible. He also enjoys playing chess and most any outdoor activities. A big part of our relationship is doing things together. Whether it’s hiking a trail, throwing a Frisbee or football in our yard, or playing a board game we like to spend time together as much as possible.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a 1500 sq’ 3 bed 2 bath cottage style house sitting on 1 acre on a quiet, non-through traffic road. We are just outside the city limits so we have the convenience of all the city activities a mile away but also enjoy the quiet, small town feel of our small neighborhood. Our immediate surroundings are a church, a middle aged family, and a younger family with a couple small children. Jonathon works from home so there is always someone at the house. We have a fenced in back yard that our three dogs really enjoy. They prefer to stay outside but we bring them in for the winter months. We have a 12 year old collie mix named Sandi, a 8 year old mix named Cleo, and a 7 year old toy poodle shih tzu mix name Skeeter that were all adopted. Our dogs are our family. They are spoiled but also have the best manners we could ask for. We also have a 7 year old domestic shorthair cat named Tinkerbell whose favorite thing is to enjoy the company of your lap.
Our Extended Family
Family is a big part of our lives. Jonathon has a loving mother and a hard working father, three sisters, one brother, one niece, and three nephews. Due to career paths, Jonathon’s family is scattered around a bit but we always put importance on seeing everyone and making memories whenever possible. Jamie’s family is more local and all get together multiple times per year for each of the holidays and special family events. Laughter is a big part of all our family get-togethers. Since the passing of her father last year the only immediate family she has is her mother, sister, and nephew. Her mother is one of the hardest working individuals we know and is the backbone of the family. Because of her we have a very strong connection with all of the rest of our family. We are both fortunate enough to come from families with good moral standards and positive role models and hope to provide the same for our future family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Since getting married in 2011 we’ve always wanted children of our own. We soon realized that we were not having much success. That led us to take action and see a reproductive specialist in 2014 and we were still unable to conceive. The next step for us to consider was IVF, which we chose to not pursue. After having disappointment after disappointment over the past few years we decided to put the brakes on and reevaluate things. We previously discussed and were already open to adoption but the timing just wasn’t right. The more thought we put into adoption the more we realized that this is where our hearts are leading us. We are excited to begin this new journey in our lives to not only allow us to grow and learn as individuals and parents but more importantly to provide a firm foundation for a child to grow into a young adult and ultimately have a positive impact on society.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
