First, thank you immensely for considering our profile. You are a strong and courageous individual to consider adoption for your baby. Our hearts are full of love. We want to extend that love to you and to your baby. Our desire is to share our love and happiness with another child, giving her or him a life full of giggles, fun, laughter, adventures, stability, and love. If we are the right fit for you, we want to give your baby the life you hope for him or her. We hope you see us as the perfect family for your little one.
If you choose us as your child’s adoptive parents, our gratefulness will be eternal. Learning that we cannot have children has been devastating but has led us to this road to adoption. Adoption has blessed us with one son and we hope to be the right fit for you and your baby as we continue the adoption process to grow our family. Our focus will be to surround your baby with love and happiness and open doors to a promising future as he or she gets older.
If you choose us, we hope to get an opportunity to learn about you and answer your questions about us. We are comfortable with a wide range of communication levels between you and your child. We will always honor your wishes.
We met in college and soon fell in love. Our lives have been spent serving others. Tara works as a teacher in our local preschool program, and Jonathan is the director of the human resource center in our community. Our love has carried us through many trying times as we have gone through fertility treatments and the loss of seven sweet babies in miscarriages. We are part of large extended families on both sides who enjoy being together. Weekends mean family cookouts, camping with grandparents, boating on Sunday afternoons, or taking short weekend trips together. Our interests and hobbies are varied. Jonathan likes to tinker in his woodworking garage, making shelves, tables, and other items from old barn wood for family and friends. Tara gets lost in painting abstracts, many of which hang on the walls of our home. Gardening, vintage shopping, playing Candy Crush, and watching movies together are some of our other favorite pastimes. As a family of three, we like to go to children museums, make art, explore local geocaching sites, go to the zoo, have Nerf Gun wars or hanging out at the roller rink.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is based on a shared Christian faith. We have a three-bedroom, two-bath, ranch-style home in a rural subdivision just outside of town. Living outside of town gives Jonathan plenty of room to grow strawberries, huge blackberries, and vegetables such as lettuce, onions, carrots, and green beans. This also gives our pet miniature Schnauzer, Gizmo, room to run and play. Our son, Levi uses the space to practice Boy Scout skills he is learning and to try out some of the woodworking techniques Jonathan is teaching him. We live in an excellent school district which offers a warm and inviting K-8 education, which leads to a newly built high school that offers multiple opportunities to students. Some of these activities including a technical department offering "hands-on" career training, as well as a state-of-the-art theatre, a drama program, and multiple gym sports programs.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is large and loving. We live within 15 minutes of Tara's family, and we spend much quality time with them. Grandma Vicki loves to make big meals for us. Fishing is one of Levi's favorite things. He spent last summer teaching Grandma Vicki how to bait a hook with a live worm! Jonathan's family is an hour away from us. Sometimes we travel to spend the weekend with them. Sometimes they meet us halfway. For example, this weekend, we met Jonathan's family and spent Saturday having fun at the Children's Museum with our son Levi. One of our nephews joined us for a fun-filled day. Tara is the youngest, and she is very close to her older sister, who has a great husband, two daughters, and four beautiful grandchildren. Tara’s brother has a wonderful wife and a fast-paced career at American Red Cross, where he helps people when disasters strike.
Jonathan has two sisters who have started families of their own. The grandparents on both sides came from large families of 6-8 children, so there are many cousins.
Our Adoption Story
We began our married life with much-anticipated plans for a family. After feeling we had achieved a level of financial security that would support a family, we began trying for a baby. After suffering multiple miscarriages and undergoing surgeries, we decided it was time to become parents a different way. We started to take classes to become Foster Parents. We had become foster parents to a wonderful nine-year-old boy in the fall of 2015, and now Levi is our son.
After adopting our son Levi, we started looking at our family tree and discovered that adoption is a tradition in our family. Jonathan’s Grandpa and a cousin were adopted and Tara has an Aunt and a cousin that were adopted. We both grew up with Aunt’s that were foster parents, and we were blessed to understand the beauty of adoption. Our son Levi is a typical 12-year-old boy who enjoys being a Boy Scout, going fishing, and building with Legos. He is excited to be a big brother to a little one may soon enter our hearts and home. We are close with the other families that have adopted Levi’s brothers, and we visit them every month. Levi is a wonderful big brother to his three younger brothers and cousins by helping them learn new things, like everything about the world of Pokémon, Star Wars, and Minecraft. Now we are ready to grow our family through the miracle of adoption again and to complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
