dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile. We trust that our letter has provided you with a better picture of who we are and how we live. We believe family is much more than just giving your child unconditional love and support. In raising your child, we will share with him or her how your love is endless. We have great admiration and respect for you in considering adoption, and we will forever be grateful and blessed for being a part of this process.
We can’t wait to raise your child with enriching experiences such as traveling, learning about other cultures, and becoming the best person they can be: mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We are a fun-loving couple, and we strive to reflect that in our home, in our choice of community, and in our family. Your child will never be without love or opportunity. We strongly believe that people come into our lives for a greater purpose: we want to grow our family, and you want your child to live a happy and loved life with all of the opportunities in the world. Together, we can achieve all of our dreams.
We both lived in the same small town where everyone knew each other, except us! Rick moved away to the city, and years later, a mutual friend introduced us. We laughed together until our stomachs hurt, and we talked endlessly! Our first date was at Rick's Air Force Unit Reunion, which was held at the same small town where we never met! We have now been married for six years, with no shortage of memories, love, laughter, kindness, and compassion. Rick is a Real Estate Agent and Johnna works as a Program Specialist/Auditor. We enjoy life together: we love traveling, cooking, watching movies together, and spending time with our friends and our extended family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a 5 bedroom 4 bath home. The neighborhood is family-friendly, has a nearby community center with a pool, and is walking distance from our home. The elementary school is located within walking distance from our home as well. The neighborhood kids play with each other and neighbors look out for each other. When we first moved into our home many of the neighbors brought over goodies welcoming us into the community.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family is mainly Johnna's family, who has “adopted” Rick and adores him as if he were their own brother and son. Johnna has one brother who is married, and he lives out of state. He has four children, and three of his children live only two hours away. Our niece has four beautiful kids, who we also enjoy spending time with. Johnna's mother lives within six miles from us, and because she’s so close, we spend a lot of time doing things together.
Our family is excited about the adoption and is looking forward to sharing all of our favorite traditions with another child. Our favorite tradition is spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family. We have a very goofy, fun-loving clan that brings out the comical, loving, and caring side of all of us!
What Led Us To Adoption
When we got married, we knew we wanted to have a family to pass down our traditions from our childhood. After trying for five years, we decided that our heart was so filled with love, we didn’t want to wait for a biological child. A dear friend of ours shared her story of being a birth mother at a very young age, and she was moved to happy tears when we shared the news that we plan to adopt. She said that we will make a wonderful mommy and daddy for that special baby one day soon!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
