Dear Birthmom

It is hard to put into words what we want to say, but ultimately because of you we will be able to have and raise the child that we have been longing for. As the name implies, you are blessing us with the gift of an angel and we are overly blessed. We promise to you that we will take very good care of your baby and make sure he/she will have a loving family. We cannot wait to meet you and find out more about you. We have felt the calling to adopt for some time now and we finally have gotten this far in our adoption journey. We know there is a special little angel just for us to love and cherish forever. Again, thank you so much for considering us for your baby.

About Us

We are John and Angela and we both have careers in the medical field. Angela works as the lead Nurse Practitioner in a busy Emergency Room. John is a retired Navy Search and Rescue Corpsman who is also a paramedic. He currently started his own small business 3 years ago teaching various certification/safety training classes. We met in 2005 in Nevada and married in 2009 after moving back to Alabama. John is originally from New Jersey and has adapted well to Gulf Coast life. We love being outside, whether it be walking the dogs along the bay, riding bicycles, doing yard work or even enjoying a nice rainstorm coming through. We enjoy traveling and make it a family affair. Every September/October we host an Oktoberfest serving bratwurst, schnitzel, potato salads, and friends and family bring an array of side dishes. It is so much fun, and yes John will sometimes even wear his Lederhosen. ☺

Our Home & Pets

We live in a town with a population of about 6,800 people (and growing), but close to other great towns and just 20 minutes from a bigger city. We have great school systems and there are many local festival/events you can attend. Our house is in one of the bigger neighborhoods in town. Our house is a two-story brick home with a nice front and back yard. We have an attached in-law suite where John’s mother lives. We have 5 bedrooms plus a bonus room, which we use as a movie/game room, and 5 bathrooms. We have a great outdoor living space/gazebo that John and his friend built. We have two amazing dogs named Schatzie and Muggee. Schatzie is 8 years old and is rescue dog. Muggee is a “rugrat” half pug/half rat terrier. They love playing and walking and they love children. We also have one chicken named Peeps who likes to give us (on average) one egg a day.

Our Extended Family

We have a wonderful blended family and we all have come to enjoy it very much. John’s mother moved in with us four years ago. Angela’s parents live close by and visit often. They love to help out with anything and enjoy having shared time with us. Our daughter is 25 years old, recently married and a mother of two small children (6-year-old daughter and newborn baby boy). Our middle son is 20, works fulltime and attends college. Our youngest son is 18 years old and is graduating high school this year. Angela’s brother lives 6 hours away. He will visit at least 2 times a year with us and we try to visit him 2-3 times a year, too. Angela’s grandmother and aunts, uncles and cousins live in Germany and we visit with them every other year and sometimes they visit us too.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have tried to have a biological child and even attempted infertility treatments with no success. John has amazing children and since moving back to the Gulf coast area we have had a closer relationship with them. All three of them are over 18 years old now, but we still feel the calling to adoption and raise a child together. Angela has always dreamed of having a child and always knew if she could not birth a child, she would adopt. We have so much love to give and share and with our blended family; an adopted baby would be welcomed with open arms by everyone.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
