dear expectant mother
We’ve read about birthmothers and what an amazing and brave decision this is for you. We haven’t been in your shoes but we have such respect for the amazing woman that you are. As we’re writing this, we wish we could wrap our arms around you and tell you that everything is going to be ok. We want so much to reassure you that you are making the right decision and to tell you that you are loved. We admire your love and courage in considering an adoption plan for you and your baby. Adoption has touched our lives through our family and friends and we are so excited to grow our family through adoption as well.
We promise to do our best to provide a home full of love, patience, stability, fun, and laughter and that you will always have a special place in our hearts and family. We will provide a home where our child will have a sense of belonging and strong family values.
You are the perfect example of deep love and courage. The words “thank you” seem much too simple to express the depth of our gratitude to you, but from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you so much for considering us to be a part of your story.
At the center of our love story is definitely God’s grace. He provides the opportunities and we know it’s up to us to take them. We met 11 years ago through a mutual friend and it was an instant connection. We spent time getting to know each other, established a friendship and it didn’t take long to realize that our friendship was blossoming into a romance. We had a long engagement… (6 years!) and were blessed to be married in 2012.
We share a love of old Hollywood, even making that the theme at our wedding with plenty of Frank Sinatra music and winter wonderland decorations. Rosa is loyal to her core, loving, and creative. She loves baking, going for walks and greatly enjoys quiet time reading on the back patio next to the peaceful waterfall in our backyard. Joe is a simple, down to earth, and easy-going guy who prides himself on providing for his family. He enjoys hiking and biking (although we do that together too) and he is a great cook! You can also frequently find us BBQ’ing in our backyard.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a traditional 4-bedroom home in a master-planned community with a park nestled in the middle of our neighborhood. We even have our very own bus stop for the kids, which is situated at the entrance to our neighborhood. We have 2 cats, Rita and Annie and 2 dogs, Niko & Gracie-Mae. Our fur babies bring us so much joy! We host Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house and really enjoy entertaining.
Our Extended Family
Rosa has an older brother and they are very close. He lives an hour from us. We see each other often for family get-togethers or sometimes he comes out to stay at the house for the weekend. We enjoy the local farmer’s market, just hanging out, watching movies, and cooking. Her family is Greek, we have a huge extended family. At the annual family reunion, typically we rent a house on a lake and about 60 of us get together. If you've ever seen the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding, then you have a pretty good idea of what family gatherings on this side of our family look (and sound!) like.
Joe grew up in Illinois and relocated to the Seattle area in the 90’s. He has a younger sister. She and his parents still live in Chicago, so he gets to visit on business trips. They have also been out to Seattle to visit us. Joe talks with his family often and despite the distance are still very close. Both sides of our family are so excited for our adoption journey and looking forward to welcoming a new family member.
What Led Us To Adoption
Shortly after we were married in 2012, we tried naturally to have a little one to add to our family, but struggled with infertility. Joe has two sons from a previous marriage and though Rosa has been in their life since they were young, she longs to raise a newborn with Joe and be involved in all of the milestones. We are determined in our dream of building our family. We both believe that God has carved out this path for us and we are so ready and excited for this next chapter in our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
