Thank you for reading our profile and letting us give you a glimpse into our lives. Our names are Joe and Julie and we are thrilled at the opportunity that you are considering us to be adoptive parents of your child. We can only imagine that this is a very overwhelming time for you. And with so many wonderful potential parent profiles you’re reading, we’re sure it is extremely difficult to make a decision on the future home of your baby. We are just so grateful that you are considering adoption and want you to know that we admire your courage and strength for making such a hard decision out of the best interest for your baby. If your heart leads you to us, we promise to love your child unconditionally and to provide endless nurturing, care and support.
We met through an online dating website in 2007 and from our first date onwards, we were inseparable. Joe proposed shortly after and we were married on May 30, 2009. Since then it’s been a whirlwind of exciting and challenging life changes that we face and embrace together. We are a very down to earth, fun loving, kind and friendly couple who try to live life as positively as we can.
Julie previously worked in Marketing and became a stay at home Mom upon the birth of our daughter in 2014. We are fortunate to be able to have one parent stay at home and the other with a flexible schedule so that we can spend a lot of quality family time together. We also enjoy spending time with family and friends, local festivals and events, watching movies, dining out, and traveling. Julie enjoys cooking, exercising and being outside in the summer. Joe enjoys snow skiing, photography, and coaching youth football.
Our Home & Pets
We moved into our forever home in 2015. It’s a spacious 5 bedroom home in a warm & friendly, residential neighborhood in the suburbs of Chicago. We live on over 1 ½ acres with a large front and back yard, a deck and a peaceful lake in back where families can got out on paddle boats, canoes or fish. We live in a very safe & quiet neighborhood filled with lots of children. We’ve been blessed with wonderful neighbors with whom we meet throughout the year for holiday parties, BBQ’s and summer gatherings. There are many parks within the area and we are in a terrific school district. We have a seven year old adorable dog named Mugsy. He is a Cockapoo , which is a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. He is an incredibly loving and funny doggy. He loves kids and is very fond of our daughter. He’s always gentle with her and especially loves it when she shares her treats with him.
Our Extended Family
We are fortunate to live near most of our extended family. We are very close to our families and they are so important to us. Joe comes from a blended family consisting of one full brother, one half brother, one half sister and one step-brother. They were raised as one family and they are all still close to this day. There are eight nieces and nephews so far on his side. Julie has two older brothers and two nephews. Our nieces and nephews love to have sleepovers at our home. Both of our parents are retired and we see everyone regularly, whether it’s going out to dinner or just spending time at one another’s home. We also go on vacations together when we are able. Our families are extremely supportive and excited of our decision to adopt!
What Led Us To Adoption
Our journey has led us here and we could not be more excited or honored to be the potential parents to your child. Having children was something that was extremely important to both of us throughout our lives. Once we were married, we couldn’t wait to start on a family of our own. Unfortunately, we had obstacles with having children and went through several fertility treatments and procedures for many years. After being blessed with our daughter in 2014, we are ready to continue to grow our family. We always knew in our hearts that one day adoption is where our parenthood path would lead us.
We have huge hearts with so much love to give and share and we know one day we will have that big family we have always dreamed of. We know this decision is not going to be easy for you, but we can assure you that if you choose us, we promise to love and cherish your baby each and every day.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
