dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering us to be the proud parents of your baby. You are strong and courageous for considering adoption. Wherever this journey takes you, please know your baby will be loved and cherished every day if you choose us. We know how the love of a child can affect our lives. Our son Leo is one of our biggest blessings in our lives, and we can’t wait to have another child to love and call our own.
We look forward to creating memories, going on adventures, and traveling the path of life together. We know you will always be with us as this baby holds so much of you in them. We want our child to know where they came from and the courageous story of how they became part of our lives. Without you, our family wouldn’t be complete. As you face this difficult decision, please know you are in our prayers, and we hope you find the peace and serenity you need to get you through this journey.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and hopefully we can travel through this adoption journey together.
Eric and Jodi
We are Eric and Jodi! We met almost 10 years ago through a mutual friend during college and had an instant connection. Eric is hardworking and compassionate and loves a good football game. Jodi is loving and outgoing and is always willing to explore a new area of the world. We got married in 2013, and our first son, Leo, was born through IVF in 2015. Eric is a master electrician for an up-and-coming electrical business, and Jodi works as a medical coder for a national revenue cycle services organization. We love being outdoors and enjoy golfing and camping together as a family in the summer. One of our favorite traditions is going out to eat on Friday nights and sharing our favorite activity from the week that we each did. We look forward to adding another little one to share our family experiences with.
Our Home & Pets
When we became pregnant with our son in 2015, we decided to move back to where we grew up to be closer to family and friends. We knew we wanted our children to have a close relationship with their extended family and grow up in the same community we did. We live in a colonial home that was built in 1915 with four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a bonus studio out back for Eric’s electrical business needs. We live within walking distance of two city parks. We also have two dogs, Chester and Bella, who love to run and play with our son in our spacious fenced-in yard.
Our Extended Family
Family means the world to us. We knew we wanted our children to grow up and be around their extended family. Our son, Leo, goes to Eric’s parents’ house, about 25 minutes away, once a week to play and explore their family farm. With acres to roam, cows to feed, and a stream to play in, it’s a child’s dream.
Jodi’s family lives about a half mile across town. We love to bike there in the summer. The bond Leo and Papa and Grandma have is indescribable. He loves to go over and play and help his papa in the garage with anything that needs to be “fixed.”
We have a niece and nephew on Eric’s side of the family and two nieces and one nephew on Jodi’s side of the family. We love to get together for holidays or just a normal Saturday afternoon to play euchre or marbles. Everyone is very excited to have another little one around to love and watch grow.
What Led Us To Adoption
We knew we wanted children, but with both of us struggling with infertility, we decided to go through IVF and were able to have our son, Leo. We tried a few more rounds after Leo was born but didn’t have any success. We have close friends who adopted and knew it would be a great way to expand our own family. We never saw ourselves having only one child and knew in our hearts we wanted another child to love no matter how we got there.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
