Dear Birthmom

We cannot imagine the strength and depth of love you must have for the child you are carrying. We are deeply thankful for your choice to give your child life and possibly allow us to welcome your child into our lives.

We love to explore new places and look forward to taking the baby with us. Our faith is very important to us and we believe that children are a gift from God.

Even though we have not met you yet, we feel a kinship with you already. We would nurture and support your child to allow him or her to grow into who they are to become, and love them unconditionally.

We know you have your own special story as well. If you feel comfortable, we look forward to meeting you and hearing it. We have waited and prayed in faith and trust, not always patiently, but knowing that God was working in us as He was working in you. Whatever your decision, we continue to keep you and your child wrapped in strong and faith filled prayer.

This child has always been Beloved.

About Us

Hi, we are Jim and Lynne and have been married 7 years and counting. We are each other’s best friends and soulmates and we are looking forward to becoming parents together. Jim and I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies and interests, from taking walks and day trips to beautiful places in nature or an educational site. We have visited both the mountains and the ocean and enjoy hiking on new and different trails. We enjoyed visiting parts of the Appalachian Trail as well as Sandbridge, Virginia and Cape Fear State Park. We have also enjoyed traveling to different US sites as Jim has the opportunity to travel with his work. We have been to Cocoa Beach in Melbourne, Florida , Nashville, Austin and the northeast states of New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Vermont. We love being at home but also enjoy the chance to explore. We both enjoy staying physically fit and are avid readers. Jim runs and plays the guitar and Lynne does yoga and meditation. We have super supportive family and a group of close knit friends who are excited as we are for us to adopt. We also share a strong faith together.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is our safe place that we live, love, and laugh in. We live in a red brick ranch style home on a tree lined street with the woods off the back deck. Nearby is a walking trail that we enjoy riding our bikes on, and a children’s park for the neighborhood kids. Although we both enjoy being social, we also enjoy and look forward to quality family time. We value the time we spend together there and feel it is important that a family have a strong base. Our family includes our adopted shelter cat, Zoe, who provides us both with much unconditional love and humor. We have also discussed adopting a dog as part of our growing family.

Our Extended Family

Both of us have wonderful, caring and supportive extended families. We are each close to our families and have become a part of each other’s families, as well. Jim has two sisters and a niece and a nephew who were adopted, while Lynne has a brother and sister, two nephews and two nieces. Our relationship with our families is a close loving one. Lynne’s family is very nurturing and traditional while Jim’s is more laidback and lighthearted. Both families are extremely supportive of both of us and also of the child we are waiting for. Family is valued on both sides and everyone is equally excited to meet the newest member of our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We knew even before we were married that we wanted to grow our family and share our life, love, and experiences with a child. That desire has not changed and we were gradually led to the option of adoption. Jim’s niece and nephew are adopted and we have seen how wonderful it has been for our family. They are so loved, valued, and supported by everyone. We cannot wait to experience something similar.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
