dear expectant mother
As we sit to write this letter, our hearts are pounding with excitement and emotion, mostly because we know how much lives can change because of adoption. We totally understand the wide range of emotions the adoption process can bring for you as a mother and for us as an adoptive family. Hopefully as we transition through this process together, it will become more real and less scary for us all.
We hope you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption. We promise to make vows to you and your child to cherish and love your baby with all of our hearts and souls and to provide a safe, happy home and life with every opportunity possible.
Know that we are praying for you and your precious baby throughout your pregnancy that God will fill your heart with peace, give your mind comfort, and ultimately give you the strength you need in whatever decision you make. The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful flower of all. How we handle things when life gets tough says a lot about our character.
After reading this, if you feel connected to our family, then some of our passion, energy, and optimism is now yours to keep and treasure.
Love,
Terry, Jillian, and Darrione
About Us
We have been like the three little bears over these last ten plus years. Our model is to put God first, treat people how you want to be treated, and give out that selfless agape love. Jillian is a human resource manager at her current job, so she’s able to help people structure their lives and careers. Terry is an operational manager and is able to mentor his team and give them guidance and hope. Our son is an honors student in his second year at a university. We all give 110% every day and work even harder to prepare ourselves for the obstacles we may encounter. Mental health is just as important as physical health to us; that's why we strive hard to have a foundation of spirituality. We take pride in how far we have come and have faith in how far we can go.
Our Home & Pets
God has truly blessed us to reside in an area that’s extremely diverse and inclusive. We are one big melting pot here, and because we love everyone, it’s quite refreshing to have that support throughout our neighborhood, where everyone knows your name. We have a community group on Facebook to support the neighborhood. We’ve aided in helping pups that were lost return home and even had our little ones returned to us as well after a Dora the Explorer adventure through the gate. Our other family members are Paws, a boy chihuahua and shih tzu mix, and Pixie, a girl that is a full-blooded shih tzu. They both love cuddling, rubs, and giving out kisses.
Our Extended Family
Jillian has one sister, and she and her husband have two children. Our eleven-year-old niece plays soccer, and our fifteen-year-old nephew plays basketball. These two were raised with Darrione, so they are practically siblings. Terry has five siblings and a cousin who is like a sister. Between all five siblings, we have seven nephews and two nieces.
Our family traditions consist of getting together on Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and several birthdays throughout the year. Sometimes we try to take trips as a family, and sometimes we stay at home and play charades or board games and watch movies together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We all have big hearts and have always had a connection with children over the years. With every family event, all of our nieces, nephews, and cousins would come to us and never want to leave. Our extended family would always be astonished by our connection with the children; even the stubborn, picky ones would gravitate to us. Terry actually adopted Darrione once we were married, and we always wanted to add to our family so we could start raising a child with the love, maturity, and values we’ve held high over the years.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
