dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to review our profile. While we cannot begin to imagine what you are feeling at this time, we honor the courage and love it takes to choose adoption for your child. We are forever grateful to you for creating the life we have not been able to create ourselves and look forward to starting this journey with you if you choose us.

We are ready to welcome your baby into our home and hearts and to dedicate ourselves fully to your baby’s wellbeing. Here is what we promise you: We promise to love your child with all our hearts. We promise to support and encourage them on their journey through life. We promise to honor their roots, sharing the story of their beginning and telling them of your love for them. We promise to surround them with loving and supportive family and playful furry friends. We promise to provide for their needs and support them in attaining a quality education. We promise to give them the space to be true to themselves and, above all, to be happy. We hope it will bring you peace and comfort knowing how loved your baby will be in our home.

Jessie and Keith

About Us

We have been together for thirteen years and married for eight. We met through mutual friends and quickly hit it off as we bonded over cooking, gardening, and bicycle repair. Jessie works as an RN, and Keith works as a retail manager at a locally owned kitchenware store. We enjoy flower and vegetable gardening, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. We volunteer with a local animal rescue as a dog foster home, typically fostering one dog per month and helping them find their forever homes. On rainy days, we enjoy putting together puzzles, reading, cooking, and playing board games. Keith loves music and has a variety of musical instruments from around the world. Jessie plays piano and loves to knit and weave on cold winter days. We are both caring people who enjoy spending time together and with those we love.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood in southern Wisconsin in a three-bedroom house with a large, fenced-in backyard. There are many families with young children on our block, the elementary school is a short walk away, and there are six parks nearby. We have two dogs, 4-year-old Nova and 2-year-old Bertie. They are both friendly and social and love going on hikes and giving kisses. Our community is known for its access to outdoor recreation, including boating, swimming, biking, hiking, sledding, and skiing, and offers many activities for children year round. We have a zoo, children’s museum, four lakes, and multiple nearby farms offering seasonal activities such as u-pick berries, sunflower days, and fall festivals with hayrides, corn mazes, and pumpkin patches.

Our Extended Family

Jessie’s immediate family (parents, step-parents, and four siblings) are quiet individually, but get them all together around the table for a game of cards, and they laugh, jest, and have a great time. Add in some of the extended family (two grandmothers, four sets of aunts/uncles, and nine cousins), and it will be a riotous good time with lots of laughter, good food, and a lively card game. Jessie’s dad’s family is Jewish, so the traditions are blended at holidays with the menorah set up next to the Christmas tree and matzoh ball soup added to Easter dinner.

Keith’s immediate family (parents and two sisters) also prefer to keep things a bit lower key. At their frequent get-togethers, food is always the center of the gathering, with Vietnamese egg rolls and Indian curries sharing space with the turkey, green beans, and mashed potatoes. On Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, as many aunts, uncles, and cousins as can make it fill up chairs and floor space in Keith’s uncle’s house and spend hours eating, catching up, playing board games, and waiting for Keith’s dad to fall asleep in his chair after dinner, as is family tradition.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are very excited about the opportunity to adopt a child. We have been unable to have biological children and feel grateful and honored for the opportunity adoption gives us to bring a child into our lives. Adoption is a powerful experience, and we have seen directly how a family is made richer by adoption through the experiences of Keith’s family. Keith’s oldest sister was adopted from Vietnam, his two closest cousins were adopted from India, and three of his aunts on his mother’s side were adopted from Vietnam and Morocco. The bonds of love run deep and strong through all sides of our family, and we look forward to raising a child among them.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
